What January Revealed About You | The Black Coffee Club ☕️

January wasn’t about transformation.
It was about revelation.
In this episode of The Black Coffee Club, JuniorTheTruth™ reflects on the lessons, patterns, and truths January 2026 quietly exposed—through the month’s conversations on awareness, habits, triggers, discipline, and focus.
This is not a recap to judge yourself.
It’s a review to understand yourself.
In this conversation, we cover:
• what January revealed about your habits, energy, and focus
• the patterns that showed up across the month’s episodes
• why awareness was the real work of January
• how overcorrection and pressure held people back
• what self-honesty unlocked for personal growth
• how to transition into February: The Discipline of Choice
• why discipline is about choosing intentionally—not forcing change
January showed you the truth.
February asks you to choose differently.

Let that breathe for a second. It is the end of the first month of twenty and twenty six. Man, we made it. You feel me. We made it. Though. Salute to you all standing ovation. Man, we made it. We made it. I'm a man. I'm gonna ease into this conversation. You know what I mean. It was meant to expose you. So I'm ease into this conversation. And I'm gonna tell you one of the things about myself. I've noticed, and I can't speak to anybody else, but like I've noticed, King Vonnie, like I've noticed, I don't really get outraged about a whole lot anymore. You know how we used to there's this thing to get us to be or there's not a thing, there's a push, there's an agenda to get us to be outraged by things, right, and to get us to act out passionately. You know what I'm saying. And I realized. That in my age, I don't really have it to do with a for a whole lot of stuff. Like I don't have a whole lot in me, man, I don't have a whole lot in me to be outraged about. You feel me, So everything's not up in arms kind of responds for me, right. So, like people say stuff to me about like like ice, for instance, And I was walking with my nephew. My nephew is, how does my nephew my nephews eight? I think he is eight. Nine. I think he might be nine. My my nephew we were walking yesterday the basketball practice and my nephew said something to me about ice. He's like, I was just gonna have duck people, you know, blah blah blah talk to me about ice. And I said, I said, nephew, are you worried about ice? He kind of looked at me. And I was like, he was like, uh no, And I said, yeah, I said, Ice don't want your black ass, nephew. You know what I'm saying. And then I kind of, you know, chuckled, But I just realized the things that everybody's allowing themselves to be outraged about. And I'm in this space of my life where I am extremely extremely selective about what to be upset about. I'm extremely selective about what I allow to get into my and get to my space. Right, I am extremely selective about what I allow to occupied space, you know what I'm saying, and in my mind, and I allow. I am very selective about what I allow to get me to a space of reaction and outrage and so on and so forth. And I said, I have to say because I haven't always been there, Like I haven't always been there. This is a very recent thing because I used to. I used to respond and bite down on everything you feel me like any end everything, stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with me, I would allow to get in my space and offset my energy. So this is a and I'm talking about everything. You know what I'm saying, sports, culture, neighborhoods, politics, everything you understand what I'm saying, like to the degree where I would be having real life arguments and real life falling out with people over the conversation of boxing. You understand what I'm saying, like really literally ending relationships and friendships and whatever with people over sports commentary, being to the point of just being disrespectful to people. And you know, we disrespecting each other over sports, over politics, over just stuff that just doesn't doesn't really move the needle to me anymore. You understand what I'm saying. A lot of it happened with the for me, and I'm talking for me now, a lot of it happened during these last two election cycles. You know what I'm saying. A lot of relationships severed, a lot of friendships severed over politics. You understand what I'm saying. Over my refusal to dance to a certain to a beat, whichever way you know what I'm saying. You look at it right, wrong and in different but my refusal to dance to a beat, on my refusal to get all up in arms about politics, you know, it drove a lot of people off. And then the stuff that I was really truly serious about it was just hey man, it was it's a whole bunch of it was just a whole bunch of to and I just refuse to be in a space where I allow stuff that has such a minimal impact on my life to control so much space in my life, if that makes any sense, which is why I had to pull back from the boxing conversation. I'm just telling you the truth, and I'm letting you in. I'm letting you in a little bit on me, right. So the fact of the matter is, and I'm talking about me. For me to get up and to have these conversations day in and day out does something to me, especially when we're not even talking the same thing anymore. If you really look at I'm using boxing like the boxing conversation, because boxing is a really, really cute the sport of boxing. Covering the sport of boxing is a huge part of my life, you know what I'm saying. I am the owner of the Punch Junkie magazine and the website and social media site. I am a pundit in the sport of box and I do cover the sport of boxing, you know what I mean. From a media standpoint, so on and so forth. So it is a big part of my life right. So, but. To have those conversations where I'm looking at it and you look up one day and you realize, like, bro, we're not even talking about boxing no more. You feel me like, I'm not even talking about boxing no more. I'm talking about like something different, Like this is something totally different. The same thing with politics, the same thing with pop culture. Like you talk about pop culture and the next thing you know, Bro, we're not talking about pop culture no more. Like we're not talking about entertainment. We're not talking about the movies no more. You know what I'm saying. We're not talking about TV shows no more. Now we're talking about something totally different. So for me, I've had to really be intentional with what I allow me allow myself to get outraged over. You feel me. And one of the things that I'm really serious about and you should know, is I am serious about providing a platform and doing my part to ensure that there is a space for us to come in and share and work collectively in order for us to improve ourselves, and then improving ourselves on an individual basis, we then will have the ability to raise our social economic status as a collective. Sh don't tell nobody you feel me, don't hopefully, I'll hopefully you picking up what I'm putting down. I feel like the work is to be done individually. If we pursue our purpose, and we pursue mastering ourselves on an individual basis, and we allow that to rub bone, rub bone rub off from the people that we love. But if we do that on an individual basis, we then have no choice but to raise our social economic status as a collective. Sh don't tell nobody. I know the world is. I know the world is. Everybody's everybody's mother fucker preoccupied with all of the bullshit that goes on. You understand what I'm saying. Uh, Like the whole world everybody's you know what I mean, kind of off on their on their tangent. But no, we have to improve ourselves. And when we improve ourselves individually and we and we start improving the conditions for our families, then as a collective, we're able to come to the table and raise our social economic status. Don't tell nobody, King Vannie, He said, I didn't know how important conversations like this was until I knew real constricted. What's up with your homie growing what's so, what's up with your family? Saluting my kin fault? What's up with it? Yeah? Yeah? Uh what they say right right? High tide rises our boats. Ah. Man, if you go to grown what's soul, you go into your house and you work on making yourself better, bro, and then you pass that off to your kin folk, into your family. And like you said the other day, now I'm sharing this conversation. You share that conversation, people come over here, start getting news they could use, and next thing you know, you are at least acknowledging. Man, I need to do some work on myself. And that's where it starts. That's where it starts, just the idea that you have a purpose, bro, and you're not even connected to your purpose because you distracted. But then you have platforms like this where we're all coming in saying, hey man, we got to get to it. We got a purpose, we got things that we're trying to do. Man, we need alignment. Our life is in chaos and we never knew why. And now we know why. King Vonnie just said it. These conversations are important, and you never knew how much how important they are until you knew Salute the mark wonder Liation in the building. First in the chat. What's up with you, homie? But that's why I'm tardy to the party. I had a long night and I was drinking tequila. You feel me? If we haven't. If you know we're gonna tell the truth, gone tell it all. If you're gonna tell the truth, gone tell it all. Back of the South said, I'm working this winter storm. Fam Ain't no joke. It's freezing out here. Now. It's cold. Broh, it's cold. It's cold, cold, cold. Growing with's so said, Yes, sir, I'm raising turkey and meat rabbits. I got you with three dozen. When you get down here, fam ah, Man, you get them get them turkeys, right man, I'm gona come get my thanks Giving turkey from you. Man. Ain't playing no games. We come get my thanks Giving turkey from you. I'm I am not playing those games. Bro it. Get a couple of them turkeys, heah, come get my holiday turkey from growing with souls a little to the family. Sorry, let's get to it, man, So welcome back to the conversation. Man, let's get into it. I didn't went off on the tangent, man, so let's get into it. So this is the last day, or at least for the show. This is the last you know, conbo day of the month of January. Tomorrow's the thirty first. As we know, it's a big day. It's a big day in the sport of boxing too. Hopefully y'all can go enjoy the fights, man, have fun. It's a big, big, huge day in the sport of boxing. I really wish more people talked about the fights and less about all the other stuff that's going on. But you know, the fight in and of itself is huge, and that is Tafi Molopez versus Schakr Stevenson. It's a huge fight. Xander Zaiez also has a fight in Puerto Rico. I can't think of the name of the dude he's fighting. Keith Sean Davis versus Jermaine what's your main last name? Or was it Jermaine Ortist? I can't remember my dude's name. I can't remember Jermaine's name. Is it Jermaine Rtist? I ain't even it, don't even matter, I ain't even gonna look, yeah it is. I ain't gonna disrespect that man like that. I think it's Jermaine Ortist. Hold on, let me, let me, let me look it up real quick, just so I can get it on wax. Ain't nobody even Yeah, it's Jermaine or Teas versus Jermaine or Teast. That's gonna be a good fight. That's on the undercard of the Lopez versus Stevenson fight card. So y'all enjoy the fights tomorrow. This is the uh. The super Bowl is next weekend, so there's this is the week between the Championship Sunday, UH and the actual Super Bowl Sunday. So you know, this is kind of a downtime for football, a lot of college basketball or college basketball gearing up on the March madness side. Uh yeah, we got Bruce, we got Shoeshoe Carrington fighting as well for his title world title. Man, it's just a lot of good boxing going on, man, and I'm gonna be glued. I'm gonna have to take my nap. We got basketball tomorrow, we got our games are relatively earlier, though, so I get the opportunity to get me some sleep. Man, take me a good nap. I'm gonna take me about a four five hour nap. Come eight o'clock. Man, I'm gonna be locked and loaded. You feel me. But anyway, so this is the last day that we'll be doing. We'll be here in the Black Coffee Club for the month of January. But before we talk about February, we got to talk about what January told you? What did January tell you? What did January tell you? Not what you playing for the month of January, right, not what you posted, not what you hoped would happened. Right? What did January told you? I said, what did January told you? What January are he told you? What did January tell you about yourself? January. If we did it right and you came in here and we had these conversations on and on and on, well, we had a long going conversation for January. Let me say it that way. January revealed how you actually lived. It revealed how you actually lived it. January was a very revealing month. Now I'm talking about myself. January revealed to me how I actually lived, how I actually lived. Man. Ab and King Vonney saluted y'all. Y'all, y'all saying the same thing. Ab said, as as long as I stay consistent, I can get a lot done. King Vonney said, January told me consistency is important. Man. Man, that's dope, Bro, that's dope. Dope, that's dope. So what you're saying was that January showed you that you're not as consistent as you need to be. You feel me, because we ain't fixing the chat, We ain't fixing the chack. We just we just getting the acknowledgement right. So January revealed the yad that you're not as consistent as you need to be. You feel me, Me too, got revealing to me. I'm not as consistent as I need to be. That's not bad news, though, y'all. That ain't bad news. Like that's that's that's powerful, that's powerful, that's powerful. This conversation is tight led what January revealed about you. And this is a review like this ain't a this ain't no this ain't a roast. You feel me. This ain't no roast. Uh, this ain't nothing for us to feel no kind of way about. This is a mirror you feel me, not a verdict. This is an opportunity for us to look in the mirror one last final time for the month of January. You understand what I'm saying. Those of you all that are in a chat, to everybody that's in the live stream, Shout out to the family. Salute everybody that's tuning in on Facebook, book, Salute to everybody that's over on YouTube. Salute to everybody that's over on rumble as well, man, Salute to the family. Shout out to everybody that's catching this in a replay. Replay gang and full of fact, and shout out to everybody that's catching this via the podcast package. Salute to the podcast family. Me lie for me lea hashtag Junior Mafia. Kiya Allen says, Ratchester's ninety one, what's up with your homies? Salute to you. I ain't seeing you in a while, Ratchet, is you a cock? Jay Reed? You thought I wonn't gonna give you nothing. January taught me to be gentle with myself and give myself grace because I can't do everything at once. Also, I procrastinate too fucking much. I get overwhelmed and I shut down. A woman after my own heart, you feel me a woman after my own heart? Yeah? Yeah. Growing with Soul says self analysis should not involve harsh criticism to myself. That's a fact. That's a fact. It should not include harsh criticisms of yourself. No, it's all about information, so like, it's all about information, bro Like, it's all about literally sitting there gathering the information. You don't got to do nothing else, Just gather the information. Yeah, just gat All you have to do is gather the information. No judgment, you know, And it's it's it's natural for us. Uh, hold on, I got you a b It's natural for us to want to like, it's a natural reaction, right, it's a natural reaction. It's a natural reaction. You want to judge yourself. You want to look at yourself harsh you know, we say that, oh man, you gotta be your own worst critic, and so on and so forth. Like we say these things, but we really be setting ourselves up for the punishment. Nah, you ain't gota You ain't gotta judge yourself harshly. You have to get the information. You have to get that information. So one word type one word in the chat that describes how January really felt to you. How did it really feel to you? For those of us that's been here, that's been rocking, that has just got here, whatever, how did January feel with regard to the content and what it is that we were doing and what we were working on. Yeah, yeah, for me, January was it was eye opening. It was eye opening. January was eye opening for me. It was like on my soul, like January was was one of them months or this month where you know, once again the theme of the month as it relates to the self mastery blueprint, it was it was it was intentional awareness is the theme of January, and it was eye opening for me. January was eye opening. Growing with so says clarity, keep Vannie say optimistic. That's good ship. That's good ship. Now. I opened it, bro, I opened it like a motherfucker. Like I'm like, dang, And to your point from earlier, right like, all I gotta do is be intentional, and I gotta tweak this and tweak that and then be intentional and then I get to see what's gonna happen. Like ah, kids said, it was overwhelming, and I felt that paralyzed and feeling coming back. Its overwhelming. And that's and that's and we're gonna talk. Sis, We're gonna talk, because that's all. That's that all thing at once. You feel me, You got that, you got that, you got that superhero complace mama, like you got that superhero. You feel me because you really, because you know really where you're from and really what it is that you do and for your family, your babies and your family over all, Like like here, you a superhero for real. And they say, I ain't trying to get all you know what I mean, I ain't trying to get all offensive that shit, but you really a superhero. You feel me, and so we take that on. And when we take that on, it's easy for us to get overwhelming and get paralyzed because we're much is given, much is expected. You feel me. You have a whole lot of responsibilities, you understand what I'm saying, a whole lot of shit. You're trying to get up under and trying to hold up. And then over there in the corner, you got your you got your own dreams, and they over there by themselves, they cold, wet and shivering. You feel me, and you ain't even over there sitting with your dreams because you are black superhero. You're a black superhero woman, and you doing everything else. That's a whole nother conversation, though, So I get it, I get it, I get it. But we committed to doing the work, man, so that we can get through this. It was I opening, I open it. And even what you just shared, kid, was I opening, Jayvonie, optimistic, abstis sol awareness, It was, it was, it was. It was. Intentional awareness, and it was meant to expose you, Like January, the month of January was meant to expose you, the good exposure, not that exposure that you know what I mean, not the exposure that we used to you know, motherfucker, uh you know, not the not the bullshit. It was meant to really truly expose you. That's what January was meant. But let's clear something up. The month of January was never meant to transform, Like, it was never meant to transform you. It was meant to expose you. Have no transformation. It was just exposure. And if we think about the things, think about what we talked about. We talked about awareness before discipline. We talked about our habits running on autopilot. We talked about our triggers driving our reactions. We talked about over correction versus focus. You feel me. We talked about pressure versus preparation, y'all like all of that, Like we really got it. We really got it cracking, Like we really got it cracking. We got it cracking. Y'all didn't even know it, Like we really really got it cracking. Ab said, I'm fighting a lot of issues of the past. Anger, regret, frustration, we talked about, but those are your triggers driving reactions. Like this is what we talked about, what's triggering you. You understand what I'm saying, and you figure out what's triggering you. Now you can control your response, bro. And this is all about Like January was a month of us really exposing so that we can start taking control back. Or maybe some of us might have never had control before. You feel me. But January showed you also where your time actually go if you did it right. January showed you where your time actually goes. So loud to everybody that got the that got the Simple Truth m a T the free Matt tool over at You can go over the juniortruth dot com well junior truth dot com and get you there. But you go over to the Truth Shop download the math for free. You can use it from here on out. You can use it all day, every day, any day, any month. You can use it. It's there and it's gonna be there. But it shows you where your time actually goes. It also shows you how you respond under stress. Ab It shows you how you respond under stress. Yeah. It also showed us what habits run without our permission, and it showed us what discipline feels like without clarity and discipline. If y'all remember, discipline without clarity is what it's abuse. Discipline with our clarity is abuse. Yeah, the month of January, it didn't. I never asked you to change in the month of January. I didn't ask you to change a month of fucking thing. Didn't ask you to change nothing, January. You were only asked to pay attention. That's it. Just pay attention. January didn't ask you to change, it only asked you to pay attention. Yeah, yeah, yeah, January. Think about what did January reveal about your habits, about your energy, about your focus? This is all stuff that y'all been answering in the chat. What did it reveal about your habits, your energy, about your focus and those observations and those things that y'all saw that shit ain't it ain't. Those are not failures, Kia. That's not failure. You understand what I'm saying. That's not failure. Ab those feelings about fighting issues, that's not failure, bro, that's data. That is data. You understand what I'm saying. We talking about, Matt. Are we gonna master ourselves or not? You feel me? Are we gonna do the goddamn work or not? Are we gonna master ourselves or not? We either gonna do it or we ain't. If but if we say that we finna ride this horse that go, we gotta ride it. We gotta ride it like we gotta get on this horse. And we gotta ride it. If this is what we're gonna do, and this is why everybody ain't here. You know how difficult it is is look at yourself honestly and then get on here and listen to my ass tell you you should be looking at yourself first. Every day, first thing you should be doing. You need to get up shit, kiss the ground, thank thank God for the day, and then look at yourself. Nah man, if we're gonna ride this horse like, we gotta ride it. And that's why everybody ain't here, Nipsey said, the circle gets smaller. Everybody can't go. Everybody can't go. Everybody you gotta be a bad you know, you gotta be a bad motherfucker to be in here. This is only for the bad. This is only for the bad motherfuckers. That's it. Ab said, that's true. So I know I have to choose positive thinking and peace. The past is trying to creep up on me and make me think being positive is delusional, right, right, But you have to engage like you gotta tussle with that. You understand what I'm saying. You gotta tussle with that, and you gotta go to the You gotta go to the core. You feel me, Because if it's trying to creep up, then why what is causing it to creep up? You understand what I'm saying. What is it that's causing it to creep up? What's causing it to creep up? And to be honest with you, A B. I think you and Keyr are having the same conversation for real, which is why we are supposed to be here, all right, So January, let's talk about the patterns that kept showing up in a month of January. January is a bad boy? Yeah, the number one pattern that intentionally, I intentionally kept coming to and we intentionally kept kept having a conversation. Awareness comes before discipline. Ab Awareness comes before discipline. First there's awareness, then there's the discipline. You don't need more rules, you need clearer vision. You don't need more rules, you need a more clear vision. Awareness comes before discipline. Discipline without awareness is abuse. Period. You just beating up on yourself because you excuse me, you're glutton for punishment. You just beating up on yourself. Number two, habits were automatic. Habits automatic. Most of what you do, you didn't choose to do. Most of what you do this month, you didn't choose to do. You noticed it. You noticed it. The majority of our habits are on auto pilots. Salute to my brother Thomas. If you've said you're following in the building, what's up with you? Broke? That was the second pattern that showed up this month. In the month of January. Habits are automatic. Most of your habits are automatic. Think about the things that you do habitually without fail. It's automatic. You get up, click on YouTube, you get up out the bed, you grab your phone, you get up, you look at your phone. Every so often, you pick up your phone and you checking whatever you checking. You find yourself. You pick up your phone, find yourself on social media. You look up, it's been twenty minutes. Habits are automatic. Most of what you do, you didn't choose to do. That's what you notice in January. The other pattern, number three, the third pattern is that triggers told you the truth. In January, your triggers told the truth. Remember we talked about triggers and we did a deep dive. Stress, boredom, loneliness, those emotions will run a lot of your behaviors and they fuel the majority of your habits. If not all of them. Your triggers told the truth, and a lot of us are triggered by by stress, boredom, loneliness, fear, anxiety, regret, frustration, anger. Yeah. Yeah. The fourth pattern, number four was that overcorrection didn't want work. We realize that over correction does not work in the month of January, trying to fix everything once, everything at once, created more noise than clarity. Kill I hope you still got your ass in here. Over correction, trying to fix everything at once creates more noise than clarity. Over correction, trying to fix everything at once creates more noise than clarity. That's what January should tell you. I should share. I should pull up the computer so I can share it my notes so you can see that this is written now, this is and this is how what this is. Excuse me, This is how I know. This is how I know because the things that you are saying, you all are saying in the chat is stuff that's literally in my notes, literally in my notes. And how is the kid to come in here and talk about being overwhelmed And I feel the paralyzing feeling, the paralyzed feeling coming back. And then and the fourth pattern. That I talk about from the month of January was over correction and trying to fix everything else once creates more noise, not clarity. And the fifth big pattern I got five of them. The number five was discipline without awareness felt heavy. We like to discipline ourselves like we want to be more disciplined, but we don't have but we don't have awareness, and discipline without awareness feels heavy. Discipline without awareness is abuse. You understand what I'm saying. And discipline without awareness it felt heavy, and that heavy feeling that wasn't weakness. Like that heavy feeling you feel, tell me that heavy feeling of discipline without awareness, that's not weakness. That's misalignment. Your shit's misaligned. And when your shit's misaligned, it feels heavy, but it's not weak. You're not weak, you're misaligned. I hope y'all still in here, and I hope y'all listening. Sleuth to Jay to Joe Towns and Big Joe Towns in the building. What's up with your family? Shout out to you, nah man, Discipline without awareness is abuse and it feels heavy. But the heaviness does not make you weak. You're misaligned. Gotta line your shit up. January didn't show It didn't show you who you should be. Nah, it didn't show you who you should be. It shows you who you've been. It shows you who you've been. That's what January is about. January is the foundational month of the years, the foundational month with regard to the self mastery blueprint, and it shows you who you've been, not who you should be. It shows you who you've been. That's what January does. Yeah, yeah, I want to ask y'all, but I don't want y'all to tell me. I want you to, just knowing yourself, which which of the conversations we had in January, which episode hits you the hardest? And why? If you want to share cool? But which which episode hits you the hardest? And why? Man, I'm trying and uh, we got, you know, the habit loops. We had, the triggers, We talked about awareness, we talked about overcorrection. I think. For me, I don't know, man, I think the I think the man they all they all hit, man, they all hit. But I think for me, it's probably probably the habits. When we broke down habits and the habit loop is probably the biggest one for me because we broke down habits to the we got the acronym car c ar for our habits and that was the cue, the action and the review and the reward. I think that probably was the most powerful one for me because just really realizing that we actually get rewards from the habits that we have. Each habit that you have has there's a reward attached to it. Your brain gets a reward. So just actually saying that, really acknowledging that and so letting that soak in my spirit. Yeah, growing with SOO said that wins the episode. No doubt, discipline without awareness is abuse. Yeah. Yeah, King Minnie said no to he said no to self. The best version of yourself is on the other side of this journey. Who you telling, bro? Who you telling? Who you telling? It's the work, Yeah, it's the work. It's the work. But that reaction of you knowing which episode hits you the hardest, that tells you exactly where your growth age is. That tells you exactly where your growth age is, tells you exactly where your growth with age is. It's a good place for you to focus and the work. Yeah, So here's the real gift that January gave you, though, here's the real gift. The real gift that January offered was self honesty. Man Like self honesty. You looked and you were able to see what drains you, what distracts you, what comforts you of, what avoids you, and what aligns with you. That's what you were able to see and the honest truth. And I always have come back to this. Self mastery doesn't start with control, does not start with control. Like when you hear self mastery, you automatically think of control. Yeah, I gotta get it in control. Yeah, I can master myself. Then I ain't got to chase these brows. Go master myself. Then I ain't got to smoke this dope chase I can, I can? I can you feel me? I can uh master myself. Then I ain't gotta star. I ain't gotta keep giving this boy that cookie. Nah, it's not about that. Self mastery doesn't start with control. It starts with the truth. Yeah, it starts with the truth. So if you notice procrastination, good. If you noticed inconsistency great. If you notice burnout good, because you can't choose differently. If you if and until you can see everything clearly. You can't choose to be different until you see it clearly. Yeah, yeah, I see myself more clearly now after the month of January, I see myself. I see myself more clearly, and I ain't gonna holler you. I see myself more clearly now. Yeah. Oh, now I see myself more clearly. So this is where February comes in, y'all. This is where February comes in. So February and hopefully you know y'all stay locked in because this is this is I'm telling you, this is this is twelve months a self master. We in here and we own it. But this is where January comes in. I mean, excuse me, February comes in. February is not about trying harder, because that's what your natural that's gonna be your natural response is you need to try harder. February is about choosing differently. It's about choosing differently. The theme for February is the discipline of choice, the discipline of choice. That's our thing, the discipline of choice. We're choosing differently. Discipline is not punishment. Discipline is decision making with intention, So that's all it is. Discipline is decision making with intention. January showed you patterns. February asks you to choose your responses. January exposed autopilot. February builds agency. February we're building our system. Discipline is not doing everything. It's not doing everything. It's choosing the right thing on purpose. I'm talking slow on purpose. Discipline is not doing everything. It's choosing the right thing on purpose. In February keep saying January, I think, let me say it again. If I did, I might have misspoke February. In month of February, discipline is not doing everything, is choosing the right thing on purpose. We're transitioning from January. January was about us seeing and about seeing everything clearly. February is about choosing the right thing and choosing the right thing on purpose. You feel me? We choosing the shit on purpose. In February, we're asking, given what I see now, what do I choose? You feel me? Given what I see now, what do I choose? Big Joe? In February, what's gonna get my yess? What gets somebody? Yes? What gets my no? What gets my energy? Who's call do I answer? Who gets a conversation? Given what I see now, what do I choose. Yeah, let me ask cal what's one small choice, one small What's one small choice? What is one small choice you want to make differently in February. What's one small choice you want to make differently in February? For me, I want to make the choice. I want to make the choice to power down. Early at night. I'm gonna make the choice. To power down early, meaning come eight o'clock, we on wind down nine o'clock in the bed, Like I'm powering down early in the month of February. I'm making a conscientious decision to choose that. Yeah. But small choice are you gonna make differently in February? And not a goal? This ain't a goal, Like, this is not about goals. This is not a goal. This is not a transformation. This is a choice, a small choice, right, because discipline is not doing everything, it's choosing the right thing on purpose. Yeah, yeah, yeah, So let me give you.
