Salute to the scholar Kevin Dunbar in a building. What's up with your brothers? Salute to you man, Ay say so today, Man, we're gonna dive into something that's crucial for me in twenty and twenty five and beyond. And that is of course a personal standards man. I know y'all kind of clicked on it and you see the thumbnail, and thumbnail says man, A man has to have a cold, and I'm telling you you got a ride for you in twenty and twenty five, and it's just so funny, man, It's so funny. The world will really make you feel strange for having standards, man, And I'm gonna get real, real specific. You know what I mean. I'm really talking about, like literally writing for yourself, no compromise, no excuses, just you living by your standards, no matter what they make you feel crazy, you know what I mean. Is not just about setting goals. It's about setting the foundation for your life. It's about knowing who you are, what you stand for, and making sure that every step you take aligns with those core values. So why are these standards like more important than they've ever been in twenty twenty five? Is simple, man. The world is changing, society is changing, the pressure is rising, and the only thing that's going to keep you grounded is having a clear sense of who you are and what you stand for. It's too much fake shit, man, Everything is fake. It's too much fake shit going on in the world and people. I've never seen people so comfortable with being fake in my life, man, I have never been I have never seen people so comfortable being fake. I've never seen it I have never seen people, our people, the culture. I have never seen people so comfortable being fake, wanting to be fake, desiring to be fake, people waking up in the morning and saying, man, how can I just go be fake today? I have never we are in that's the place we are in the world, and somebody gotta say it, like, somebody gotta be real, somebody got to stand on it. We have never been this comfortable being fake. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm I want that to resignate. Let's let's stay there for a second. Let's wallow in that. Let's wallow in that for a minute. You feel me like, nah's listen, you know, I was about to try to move on, but nah, let's stay there. Let's stay there for a second. I have never ever in my life been in this space where I have been surrounded by so much fake shit, and everybody is comfortable in the fake shit. All of it. Everything is fake. Everybody's being fake. People wake up and post on social media fake shit. People go and they go consume fake shit. You understand what I'm saying. You realize that people get up and they go listen to hours and hours and hours of somebody talking about a sport that they never participated in. You can listen. You will listen to somebody talk for hours about football, and they never threw a football before. You will listen to somebody talk for hours about basketball, and they never shot a jumper before you understand what I'm saying, they never dunked a basketball before. You listen to people for hours and hours and hours talk about the sport of boxing and they never been punched in the face before. You will listen to people tell you how to improve your credit score and they credit is fucked up. You listen to people that tell you how to build a real estate portfolio and they don't own property. The world has never been this comfortable being as fake ever ever in life. Yeah, so that's why I'm telling you, like, you have to have a personal standard, Like you have to have a personal standard. And when you establish and you have a personal standard, the world is gonna make you feel like you batshit crazy. But it's imperative. You gotta ride for you, like you have to ride for you. Today though, I'm gonna walk through my reasons why you need personal standards, and then I'll even give you like a couple of actionable ways that you can start developing your own right now, because, believe it or not, a lot of us don't have our personal standards. We don't have our own personal standards. So I'm excited to have this conversation with you real quick though, But before we get started, let's get it. I'm mustle harder than the most. I'm a feast on these streets, Gatory bolver I told for these niggas trying to take me off the block where I pointed daily sit Bailey's out the bottles. Ooh, the world don't want us to have this conversation. It's not even just the world, it's people that don't want us to have this conversation. Oh, it's gonna be some people that's offended by this. People that like to get up and be fake, people that like to live a fake existence, people that like the handshake and kiss and hug people. That they don't fuck with. Do you feel me like? People who like to live in these for size and these fake images. People who like to get up and try to trick you into thinking that they are something that they are not. I've never been around and seen and bear witness to so much fakeness in my life and it totally one hundred percent offset to my spirit as it relates to who I am and what my standard is. You understand, And so like I'm out here shouting from the rooftop. You know what I mean, the mountaintop. I'm hey, man, like I see it, like I see it, I see it. And people are so hell bent on hiding and moving away from their real selves and all that comes with it to create this fake facade of who they want you to perceive. I've called it the representative. You understand what I'm saying, and I'm telling you that people will present to you their representative. And the problem with someone like me is that I will listen to your words, but then I'll look at your actions. This is my life like this is this is me, Like this is how I am read Supreme Beast boxing talk. What's good with you, Homie, Seren, y'all Israel? What's up? Family? Like this is me, This is how I see the world. So we can talk and then you can tell me something, right like you can literally tell me something, But then I'm gonna. I take what you say. And I kind of take it with a I take it for research purposes only. That's a way to look at it. I've never looked at it that way. But I take what you say for research purposes only, and then I literally look at what it is that you do, and the moment what you say doesn't line up with what I see you do, then I believe you're bullshit. Nigga. I'm just gonna, you know, trying to refrain from the language. But I believe you're full of it. I believe that you're full of it. And then I begin to I begin to compartmentalize and cat of garage things appropriately, you know what I mean. Sometimes I care enough to fit to seek further information in order to understand, and then sometimes I don't, And then a lot of times I just walk away, you know what I mean. There are people who have had, you know, a couple of conversations with me, and then I just disappear into oblivion, and they spend time trying to figure out why I'm not interested in getting past your representative to me. You have it's a you gotta for the most part, you have a one shot. You got one shot with this with me. You got one shot to show me who you are and to be who you are, and to show me that you you're you're you're solid, and once I figure out that you're not solid, it's a good chance of good possibility, and I'm gonna I'm gonna move around. And that's just where I'm at in my life, Like that's just where I'm at in life in general, because the person that you meet, I lead with who I am. And that's one of the most tremendous act for me, is that who you meet is exactly who I am. You feel me like, I lead exactly who I am because I really live by the principle that when you stay solid, you don't have to be anything else. So who you meet is who I am, who I present to you off the muscle, that's who I am, and I don't really compromise that you feel me, and so that makes a lot of people very unnerved, very uneasy, and so on and so forth. So anyway, I believe that we have to enter into this space where you have to ride for yourself. Who you are is good enough, and it has to be good enough. You understand what I'm saying. And if you are in places where who you really truly are is not good enough, then you're in the wrong place, Like, think about that. Why would you spend time in a place where who you really, truly genuinely are is not good enough? Feel me? Why are you there? So you should be removing yourself, you know what I mean? And then if you if there's work that you need to do on yourself in order to be able to be the person that you need to be in those places, okay, cool? Or you probably which would be My idea is excuse me, go find a place where you are supposed to be. But never should you fake the funk? Never? Should you? Never? Should you pretend? Never? Should you pretend? Yeah? Yeah? Yeah yeah? Never? Should you pretend? Never? If you're somewhere Zach and you don't and you don't fit in, then why are you here? You shouldn't be here. You should be. Somewhere else, focusing on yourself because self mastery is the that's the goal, and being in places where you can be your true, genuine, authentic self and not line up with the fakeness or the fraudulents and so on and so forth. But that goes back to figuring out what your personal standards are, growing up with, growing with, So what's up with your homies? Treats. What's up with your treats? I love you. Yeah, that means you gotta have your own set of personal standards. And in twenty twenty five, I'm not sure people have personal standards anymore. I'm not sure because it's too many people that's just doing too many things. And it's too many folks that I see that have a significant amount of age on them doing whatever. It's too many. It's too much dysfunction. You feel me like it's too much. It's too much dysfunction. I'm seeing too much dysfunction on the daily base. Is too much dysfunction. It's too much stuff that's out of order, too much stuff that's out of pocket. Too many people out of place, too much. You understand what I'm saying. Too many, too many people out of place, out of position. But I have reasons why I think everybody should have your personal standards. Number one is the it's just a greater sense of self respect and identity. Man Like, when you really have standards, and you really have personal standards, you respect yourself more, and you I and you know who you are, and you really truly can really truly can respect and and and love your identity and who you actually are setting personal standards is it's a direct expression of self respect. When you create standards for yourself, you're saying, this is who I am, you feel me, this is this is who I am, and this is what I stand for. It's about clarifying what you value and what you refuse to compromise on. Like, think about it for a minute. If you don't know what you stand for, how can you expect other folks to respect you? If you don't know what you stand for, how can you expect anybody to respect you? Your standards they help define your identity. Like no, no, no, no, let me go back to that, let me go back to that mac of South. What's up with your ummy? Like? Nah, if you don't know what you stand for, Like, how do you expect others to respect you? We see it all the time. Think about the people that we see that or do anything for money? Right, and then you have people that look at that and they're like, well, if you do anything for money, then you'll do anything for money. Mike Beasley said that if you do anything for a dollar, then you do anything for a dollar. That's nasty work. Think about people that you know that will do anything. For money. And now we're in this space now where people just don't do anything just for money. You understand, people don't do anything just for money now, people will do anything for attention because we've been duped, man, we have been duped. We have been duped into the thought that likes, followers, subscriptions, shares, We've been duped into believing that that's the currency, and that has become a new form of currency, and people are willing to do anything for that. You understand, Like I'm looking at I'm looking at and I've shared this before, but I'm looking at like the pranksters and people who do prank it's on social media, and people who go up in social media and just start bothering people. You understand what I'm saying, Like that's people will do anything for likes. Like what makes you think it's a good idea to walk up to just random people and just bother them? You feel me like you have absolutely no idea what people are dealing with in the real world, Like the real world outside of the realm of the World Wide Web, and it's entertainment and it's mass media culture and its social media culture. Like people are dealing with things in real life. People are losing people, people are getting or dealing with illnesses. People are battling addictions, people are battling demons, people are battling spirits. There are people who are in knee deep, and myself, including I'm gonna be transparent with you right now, I am knee deep in spiritual warfare. I am I am engulfed and immersed in spiritual warfare, like I am this. This me being able to come in here and talk to you all is a welcomed outlet from the fight that I'm having. You feel me. Just concentrated fight, meditation, a summitson intercession for my spirit guys man and my ancestors and the Creator, and just a prayer for clarity and seeking clarity and thinking and meditating and eating clean and fasting it. There's so much that's just going on. You don't know what people are dealing with, and so to go in and just bother somebody for the sake of this new currency is crazy. But that comes from a person that doesn't have a standard. You feel me like, you gotta have a standard. You gotta understand what your standard is. What do you what do you stand for. And if you don't know that you understand what I'm saying, how can you expect people to respect you. Your standards will help define your identity and give you the self worth that you moved through the world with confidence. I had an incident recently where my my my confidence was was I won't say challenged, but it was. It was vilified. Right because I have a trace, Baby, I gotta I gotta sick. I'm sick with my level of confidence. The confidence of my that I have in myself is ridiculous. But it's not arrogance. It is confidence, and it's confidence because I've done the work. I'm confident in who I am because I've done the work on myself, and I'm not done the work past tense. I'm constantly doing the work on myself. So I'm confident in who I am. I'm confident in what I can produce because I've done the reps, I've done the work, I've studied to show myself approved. So there are things that I'm well versed in and I'm confident in those things. And I'm confident that in the event that I'm confident that if I put my hands on something it's going to be successful because I have a track record that would indicate that. And I know who I am, I know who my father raised me to be. I know who my ancestors are. I'm connected in my spirit, guys, and I know how to tap into the source. I know how to tap into the source. So nah, it has to work. And I'm totally one hundred percent confident in and and and I'm confident in the creator of all things through myself, and I'm unshakable with it, like I'm unshakable with that shit, and so that makes people feel a certain way, and so I've had that, But I am so confident on my my self work and how I'm able to actually move through the world. And I'm and I'm I'm I'm just really truly unshakable. And anyone that has an issue with that, they got to get the fuck off from around me, because it's not changing. And guess what, Trees watched this. I got one coming behind me, you feel me, Trees, I got one coming behind me. And he got my name, he got my daddy's name, and he looked like me, and he acts like me, and he gonna. Be a whole gorilla like me. You feel me, except I'm pouring at in the ship that I had to go out, I had to go get it and come back with it. I'm pouring it in him early been poorted since he got here, been pointed in me. You feel me. Nah, So it's it's it's it's different, man, It's different. Yeah, this is this is different. This is gonna this is gonna live forever, like this is gonna live forever. This confidence this Uh, not humbling myself, not minimizing myself, not making my meet myself meek and mirror to make other people feel in power. That's not Nah, that's gotta die. I gotta sacrifice that and the and the and this mother coming behind me is worse. He is worse. He is a He is a monster. You feel me. He is an extreme danger to your delusion. He is an extreme danger to your dysfunction. Yeah, but anyway, let me ask you, do you know what your standards are? Anybody that's listening to everybody that's listening, you feel me, and rather you're listening than the law of stream Salute to the live streamers you're listening to the podcast Salute to my podcasters and the podcast community. Thank you all so much, no matter where you're at. If you junior over at juniordtruth dot com, if you over on Apple podcasts, Android podcasts, Google Spreaker, iHeartRadio, thank you so much. I really truly genuine appreciate you. What up Pop being family? Salute to y'all. Do you know what your standards are? Have you defined them clearly? For yourself and most of us? We have to tell the truth. The answer is no. And I'm telling you that right now it's time to get real. It's really truly time to get real. That feeling of getting up, just going through your life. Just put in the law. Yeah, you haven't. You haven't established your standard that place of going somewhere and sitting there and being somewhere that you really don't want to be. You have not established your standard, the place of being somewhere that you have to be. But overstaying, you have not established your standard. My standard will not allow me to go somewhere and be somewhere where I don't want to be. My standard will not allow me to go somewhere and be somewhere where I am dishonored. It's over with and I found myself and this is the truth. I found myself recently in places where I'm dishonored, and I'm like, wait the fuck a minute, I have to look like, wait, is that dishonored? Is that a lack of respect? Is that a lack of reciprocity? No, we don't do that, Junior, don't do that. Don't do that. Excuse me, Calvin, I don't do that. I don't do that. I'm not anywhere where I'm not respected. No, fuck that. And That's where I'm at in my real life to pull the veil back for you, and I'm finding myself in several instances like nah, no, no, no, no, no, no no. Reason Number two for you to have personal standards in twenty twenty five and beyond is improved decision making and boundaries. You understand your life looks exactly like you've decided to live it, Like we just gonna tell the truth. We can get that out. You know what I mean, Your life it ain't nobody else's fault. Your life is a compilation of your decisions. Your decisions have got you to where you are. You understand what I'm saying, good, bad, and indifferent, Like you can go argue with somebody else. Your best thinking has got you in the position that you're in right now, right wrong and different. Rather, you love. Where you are and you wouldn't change a thing, or you realize it's all fucked up and god damn it, I gotta get I gotta get to work. Your best thinking has got you where you are. You have arrived where you are due to your best thinking. Personal standards make your decisions simpler. Right, So for me, when I'm realizing what my standards are, my standards are established. It makes my decisions simple simple. When I really establish standards, I understood that now I can't be anywhere. My presence is a present. I can't be anywhere. So nah, man, we're gonna go, We're gonna shoot dice and blah blah. You feel me, I can't be there. You understand what I'm saying. No, I can't go sit around. It's the dope spot. I can't. This is no knock to nobody. No, I can't just go sit around monkey niggas respectfully, No, my standards won't allow me. It's just it makes my decision simpler to help guide me day today today. Many by many, you feel me like my personal standards literally act as my compass as for me to navigate my world. You understand what I'm saying. Treat when you see me, I'm with my kids or I'm by myself. Think about treats you to see me a few times. Think about when you see me, baby, when you see me I'm by myself or I'm with my kids. You know why because that's my standard, that is my standard, that is my that is my personal standard. Yeah, that's my standard, and that's my compass, and that's what I use to make my easy decisions to help guide my days. When you know what you stand for, you make your decisions with confidence. You also set boundaries, which the boundaries are key to healthy relationships. And I'm talking romantic relationships. I'm talking about regular friendships, relationships with your family, friends, relatives. Jose Diz, what's going on with you? Man? Salute? Nah you. I'm talking about your standards. Help you set boundaries which are key to your relationships. Your standards will tell others what you will and what you won't tolerate, like, nah, man, I'm not tolerating that. And you can confidently say, look, man, if you're gonna be around me, you know what I mean? Or we gonna be around each other? Are we gonna be in this friendship together? Like we this is what this has to be. Or you can go in peace. You can go in peace. We can we can depart in peace. You tell people what you tolerate and what you won't tolerate. Without boundaries, though, everything becomes a blur. And guess what, people gonna walk all over you. If you don't have people will. Walk all over you. You hear it all the time. People only do what you let them do. What Yeah, you let them do that because you don't have a standard for yourself, like you are not aligned and have not developed concrete standards for yourself. And it is the year twenty twenty five, and guess what people are doing? You know what people are doing? Do you know what people are doing? People are looking for people to walk over, People are looking for people to pray upon. There are individuals that are looking for people to manipulate. They are looking for people to take to the cleaners. Yeah yeah, yeah. So let's be real, man, Let's be real. How many times have you found yourself in the situations where you didn't set boundaries and it ended up costing you. You feel me, y'all. Don't set boundaries with your personal life. You don't set boundaries your professional life. You don't set boundaries with your friendship circles, with your social circles. You don't set boundaries, and it ended up biting you and your ass every trip, every trip, Tree said, I also learned. I also had to learn when my intuition rings and alarm. I don't have an obligation to explain why I will or won't do something easy. Yeah, Trees, I stopped explaining it. I don't know, man, maybe twenty twenty like, I'm just not gonna be there. I can make it or I can't. Yes, no, I let my yeses be my yeses, and let my nose be my nose. Number three is enhance relationships. The third reason why you need to have personal standards in twenty five and beyond is enhanced relationships. This is a big one because where the world is based on relationships, be about a forest. What's up with your family? Salute to you. When you're clear on your standards, you can communicate them. When you communicate your standards, you are attracting people who align with them. You feel me so for instance. We can use this we can use this platform for an example. I told y'all, I love y'all. I am not coming in here and doing no gossipy boxing talk. I'm not finna do it. I'm not gonna come in here and I'm not gonna gossip day in and day out about these men. And what they doing and not doing. I'm not gonna be telling you what somebody tweeted or twat or what that somebody said on Instagram or what they said on YouTube. I'm not doing it. There's no gossip talk. You feel me. I still cover the sport of boxing. I am a boxing writer. I am the editor in chief of the Punch Junkie magazine. I will do boxing content from time to time over on the Punch Junkie YouTube channel, and we'll do some stuff here and there sprinkling in here. But I am not coming in here engaging in this boxing talk. When you come in here and hear me talk, we're gonna be talking about self mastery and wisdom and philosophy and powering our working towards empowering ourselves to move through this world. So you know what I did. I set a standard and I was able to communicate that, and I am attracting the people who align with the mission that I said I'm on. So everybody that's in here under the sound of my voice, you've been attracted like I have attracted you to this conversation. Some of y'all have been around since the boxing content. Some of y'all are new to the platform. You feel me. Some of y'all have come. We've come together through different means. Salute to my BCU family. But this is this is where we are, and it's a lot of people that's gone. We used to do live streams to be one hundred people in here. You feel me, But nah, we're not talking at bullshit. We're not doing that. We on the We on a very straight and narrow and tight path as it relates to what the content is that we're going to be doing. Because I just told you the world is saturated with fake shit and I refuse to engulf and indulge in it. So I'm working at enhancing the relationships. Yeah, and I'm attracting my tribe and the people who I need around. I really want you to think about this. Are you surrounded by people who respect your standards? The people who are all around you, they do they respect your standards? Yeah? If not, you probably need to reassess. You need to reassess. First and foremost, do you have standards? Why or why not? And secondly, if they don't respect your standards, then why and then why do you accept and tolerate people being around you who don't respect your standards? Yeah? When you're clear about. What you want and what you need in your relationships, whether personal professional, you know what I mean, you become more authentic, You feel me things. Things become more authentic, they become more fulfilling. People who can't meet your standards will fall away easily. They peel themselves away, and it's okay. Like, it's not about being harsh, it's not about being hard or not easy to deal with, and none of that kind of stuff. It's about being real with yourself and real with other people respectfully. My brother be about a farm, said, you mean, you don't want to spend your day talking about imaginary fights and fighters that barely fight once a year. No, I don't want to bro I don't want to talk about imaginary fights, imaginary fighters. I don't want to talk about people who are going to be in the Hall of Fame, who don't deserve to be there. I don't want to talk about how somebody's the greatest fighter in the world ever, whoever laced up gloves in the heavyweight division and only got eight heavyweight fights? Like, I don't want to talk about none of that, bro, You feel me. I don't want to talk about Tank Davis, his braids, his tattoos, his domestic vice. I don't want to talk about Devin Haney's money. I don't want to talk about Bill Haney. I don't want to talk about none of it. Bro. When I want to talk about fights when they get made, you feel me, Yeah, I want to talk about fights when they get made. That's it. I don't want to talk about none of the other stuff, bro. I think that that's a very low I think it becomes a very low It's become a very low form of conversation. You feel me, and I am. I am not enough to be honest with you be about a forest, bro. Man. My life is in such a space that it needs my full one attention. I just told my daughter this yesterday, my baby girl. I am so busy being me that I can't I don't I dare not take away from that to concern myself with what other people doing and what they got going on. Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah. It's a little house. I see you bring fox, what's up? What you brought some lout to you? Man? Tree said, a lot of folks been uh been trying me lately. You gotta draw that line, Trees and remove yourself. Draw that line and remove yourself. It's about being real. It's being about authentically yourself. You know how many people can't stand and look at themselves for real in a real way. You know I mean, people can't standing to look at themselves. You know what I mean. People get pulled into fake, false, fucked off relationships. You know how people people live their life having to kiss people's asses in order to feed their families. You know what I mean. People have to have to literally live in that space and be in that space. But they got to laugh at people's jokes that ain't funny. Yeah, they gotta pandir, they gotta be the people's uh, I gotta pick up you know what I'm saying When people call nah, no sir, no sir. If your circle doesn't respect your standards, it's time to have a conversation. More times than not, it's time to let go, you know what I mean, no hard feelings. Everybody can go in peace. But I have a standard, you understand. And I'm in this space right now where everything has to align with my standard. And stuff that's not aligning with my standard, box and barbecue? What's up with your hommy stuff that's not aligning with my standards? Nah? I gotta go, you feel me? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah? Be about as far as said. Most people are scared to be alone in their thoughts. Boy, you set a bar and that's a whole different conversation, and we could do a whole show. In fact, I think we might do a whole show on that. Because you know who the fuck you really are. I'm trying not to cuss. You know who you really are. You feel me? And so when you alone and you and your thoughts, it's a dangerous place. So you know what people do, be about the farms. They drown out their own thoughts with no wise, you understand. So they always on YouTube, or they always playing music, or they always watching TV, or they're always having conversations, they're always being busy bodies you feel me. They're never sitting in the own their own silence, because you gotta look at yourself. And when you really look at yourself, people don't want to look at themselves. Bro, that's a whole bar. Number four is higher achievement and fulfillment. So number the fourth reason why you should actually have standards is you will have a higher higher achievement and higher higher excuse me achievement and fulfillment. Higher. It will be higher. You understand like it will be higher. It will be higher if you literally in twenty twenty five focus on your personal standards. The fourth reason you should is because you will have higher achievement and higher fulfillment if you have personal standards and you adhere to those and keep those. Nah. Nah. Personal standards push you to be better man. They keep you focused on your goals and motivate you to achieve excellence. I love y'all enough to tell y'all the truth and inconsistent with training, like I've been training, but I've been inconsistent with it. I seen be about as far as the other day, get out there and go hit that pull up bar, and I said, I'm bullshitting. I'm bullshiting because. When I'm on point, I get up at four thirty am and I'm I'm in the gym by five. You understand what I'm saying, and everything's on point. I saw be about a Farns on that pull up bar h. I got my ass up this morning. You understand what I'm saying. I got my ass up this morning. You feel me? Yeah, I got my miles in, I got my workout in. I'm still this is my gym attire saluted my brother's Stormy b Man. I worked out in my Stormy B Man sweatshirt. You feel me? My Ohio State Buckeyes shit ain't even matching. But man, I am not like be about a fars Man. I'm about to get emotional. Bro, I am not man. I got one shot at this shit man, and I am not finna fuck this up like I own my soul. I am not finna fuck this up. Man. I got one shot boxing and barbecue. Bro. I got one shot, bro. You feel me? I uh man, man, Bro, I got one shot. Bro. Yeah, I got one shot, box and barbecue saying, you like whack them old boy? You pop out anytime anywhere randomly. Man, That's how I'm coming bro, But I really been battling demons so that it's really been on some whack of mold shit. For real, I've been battling, bro, been in spiritual warfare. I've been working you feel me on me, But I'm gonna work towards a little bit more consistency. But like I said, this is the concent. Y'all gotta support standards. Man. Your personal standards will cause you to have higher achievement man, and fulfill me. You stay focused on your goals and motivate you to achieve excellence. Here's the thing. If you don't have if you don't have standards, you just going through the motions. Like the majority of us. We can tell the truth, Steven Elde Miszak, what's up with your baby? Were going through the motions in life? Man, And I'm here and I'm coming in here in the mornings and I'm grabbing you and I'm shaking you, and I'm saying, stop going through the motions. Stop going through the motions. Stop going through the motions. Stop going through the motions, Stop going through the motions. You feel me, stop going through the motions, Like this is this is your life? Like for real, bro, you feel me. I wish I could grab you by your collar. Stop going through the goddamn motions. We got one shot. We got one shot that we know of. We got one shot. Stop going through the motions. If you don't have standards, like you're going through the motions. But when you live by. Your standards, every day is a chance to level up. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. I get up in the morning, I play before I come in. It's a new day, y'all. Don't understand what that do to my soul. When I play the new the new day, it's a new you feel me, It's a new day. Like every day you get up like, all right, man, it's a chance to get better. All right. I get to work on this, all right. I get to work on that. I get to keep building brick by brick by brick by brick by brick by brick like I literally that's how I live my life. If you've ever woke up next to me or woke up around me in the mornings, you're gonna look at me like I'm bashshit crazy Cause I get up on charge. You feel me, I get up on I used to. I don't do it no more. I probably better get back to it. Saluted my Brother's Stormy be Men in a building. I just said your name because I talked about working out. I worked out this morning in my stormy b Man T shirt. Y'all be sure to go scribe to my Brother's Stormy and be Men. I mean my sweatshirt. Nah. I used to I used to get up and listen to No Limit. Won't stop now, bitch, cause I can't stop. I used to get up. I used to get up and listen to that mystical you feel me. Can't nobody like put something by you like I do. I know you nise ain't fuck with me and you can't, but you try to. You feel me? Man, I get up on charge. You hear me every single day. I'm on charge. That's why it's easy. Why deal what's up on me? That's why it's easy for me to come in here and give y'all this energy. I can give you this cause nigga, I walk up on charge. I dine, got up, I didn't trained. I didn't I didn't shipped out a couple of orders. You feel me? And I'm in here drinking my water. I didn't take time to brew me a cup of coffee, even though this is the Black Coffee Club live. You feel me, I'm gonna go give me a cup of coffee and get back to some more work. Or I be on charge because every day it's an absolute opportunity. Man, it's a chance to level up. And you never know how close you are to that goal. You never know. One of my favorite poems says, you never know how close you are. You may be close, but it seems so far. So stick to the fight when your hardest hit. It's when things seems worse that you must not quit. Don't quit, author unknown you feel me? But anyway, I get up every day on charge. Pittsburg, big do I don't think I said nothing to you? What's up with you, hommy? It's every day is a chance to level up. It's like a silent force that's driving you to reach more, to do more. You feel me when you see the content, when you see the stuff that I'm putting out, when you see the books, when you see the planners that. Y'all don't have. Got a whole book on time management, you don't have it. I have a planner to help you plan out your life. Salute to Angie Wise. Angie Wise got her planner and she won't stop talking about it. Saluting my sister Angie Wise. She got her planner, She's posting about it on social media, she's doing YouTube about it. She in the Simple Truth Network about it. She didn't email me three or four times about the book about the planner, like she literally told me. I ain't gonna say what she said because I said I was gonna keep it to myself. But ultimately, every day it's just the new It's just a new day. It's a new opportunity. It's like a silent force driving you to reach higher, to do better, and to live with more, to live with more purpose. Standards aren't It's not just for big stuff. It's like showing up every day with your best person, your most best authentic person in everything that you do. Man, salute the Stacks, my homie, say, how you do everything anything is how you do everything. You understand how you do anything, it's how you do everything. That's something I've taken from Stacks and I've incorporated in my life. How you do anything is how you do everything. Number five, Man, And this is the last reason why you should have standards in twenty twenty five and a personal standard personal standards. Number five is increased confidence and resilience. And here's why. This is what matters. When you live by your personal standards, you develop unshaken confidence, the confidence that I spoke of earlier. You develop unshakable confidence. Why because your decisions become more clear and more intentional. You feel me you stop second guessing yourself. When you don't have standards or you've lost sight of your standards, then you second guess and everything. You're not a trusting your decision making. But when you are a person of standards, you have a code, then your decisions are predicated on your standards. There's no need to second guess nothing. This is this is either pro or anti the standard. When challenges come, your standards help you remain resilient. You understand what I'm saying. You know who you are. That helps you navigate adversity and strength. People will talk to me and they'll have an issue, and I give them my insight when they seek it, and they look at me like I seem to always have a certain level of answer, like I knew I could talk to you. I knew that you would have that answer or whatever. I have a motherfucking standard. I have standards. So I'm answering your question based off the standards that I have. It's easy work. It's easy work, so it seems like it's the right answer because it's predicated on my standards. My standards is like my filtering system. You know, you get these filtration systems for water. My standard is like my filtration system. I run it through my standard. What I'm doing right now, I'm running relationships through my standard, and I'm not liking what I'm seeing, and i realize I've been sloppy with the pots, so I got to tighten up. I'm running this shit through my standard. You feel me, my activities, my behaviors, things I've been doing re I'm running that shit through my standard like a I've been tripping. You feel me. Your standard is your is your filtration system, and you gotta have it. You know what I'm saying. You have to have it, but it's I'm telling you, but it's it's easier. You know who you are that helps you navigate your adversity with strength no matter what life throws your way. Your standards keep you grounded, like it's like your anchor. It's a storm, water's blown. You are anchored with your standards, excuse me. And it's in a world that's always changing, it's in a world that's full of chaos, and it's in a world that's fake as hell, and you standing on your standard and you look absolutely completely, you look unscathed, and everybody looks at you like you crazy. You feel me like you crazy. I go in the room and I don't say nothing to nobody. You understand I speak, but I'm not going out my way to have conversations. I'm not having no surface level bullshit. I'm not engaging and know mumbo fucking jumbo because I know who I am. You understand what I'm saying, and I understand conversations at a at a macroscopic level. Don't really do anything for me that that really goes against my my my personality. You understand what I'm saying. I am a I am anti small talk. I am anti bullshit conversation. I am anti bullshit. Yeah. Yeah? Are you confident in your decisions? Do you feel resilient when things get tough? If not, man, let's work on building up that muscle today. Easy, Let's work on it. Let's work on your fil tracing system, your fiel tracing. Your filtration system is your standard, your standards. You understand what I'm saying, and I don't want to get too technical, and I got a oh another part of this that I didn't get to the conversation, So we'll come back and talk about it tomorrow. Be part two. Under you gotta ride for you. You understand what I'm saying. And I'm talking about riding like I come out that era. You know, we used to talk about rad like we're gonna rad, meaning either I'm gonna I'm gonna ride and I'm gonna defend it like I'm riding to defend it, or I'm a ride out. You understand what I'm saying, like, man, if you don't respect my standard, I'm a rat. I'm a rad for it, and then I'm a ride out on your ass. But at the end of the day, man, you it is imperative that you begin to have a standard. You understand what I'm saying, and I ain't. I don't even want to just say a standard, I really believe because I know for me, it's like three it's three to five principles standards, it's three to five standards that I stand on. You understand what I'm saying, And I told you, I told you I had I told you you about the different levels before you know. I'm really trying to simplify it, but it was basically it was, you know, values, and your values really truly shape your principles, and then your principles shape your standard. You feel me. So it's really a level, but it's all predicated on the same thing, and so you have to have those standards. Those standards are the guiding compass through your life. But that standing, those standards are predicated on your principles, which are tied, of course, directly to your values. What do you value at the core. But anyway, man, let me get out here. I'm gonna get out the way man. Salute to you all. I'm trying to state under an hour think I did so. I told john' ia try to.
