Today's show, of course, is brought to you by and in part by Simple Truth Minute Man, Yo Man, the system which includes the one hour book that will Change the way you watch the clock, written by yours truly Junior Truth, as well as the personal Planner Man for the year twenty twenty six. We are them near halfway through the year, the twenty ninth day of the sixth month of the year twenty twenty six. I don't think I paid my phone bill. I pay my cell phone bill before they clip my wings. Little known secret my phone bill. My phone gets disconnected like every month because I don't ever pay on time, Like never, I never pay on time. You feel me and you that's one of the things that I need to put in my planner. You understand what I'm saying and remind myself to pay my phone bill. About to do day like I'm going. I'm committing to that, lil id. Don't laugh at me. I'm committing to that. My phone like literally I go to make a call and it's always I'm pretty good about keeping my business line straight, but it's my personal line, probably because I don't really be wanting to talk to people. But my phone gets disconnected like every month, and I go make a call and I hear that the person you're trying to reach or whatever message I'll be getting, I'll be like, ah, man, shit, go in and pay my bill. You understand what I'm saying. So I have to go over my cell phone service with y'all again to help you all save some money, because I know in twenty twenty six some of y'all still still spending two hundred dollars a month on cell phone service. He's stupid. If you spending If you spending a couple hundred dollars a month on your sales service, you are plumb dumb. I'm just gonna tell you to and I love you enough to tell you so. One of these days, I'm gonna tell you all what I use with my seales service, and how I got four four lines. All four lines, my two lines, my wife's two lines, all four one hundred dollars a month, literally on the nose, one hundred a month, four lines, unlimited everything, unlimited, hot Spot, what is it? Five G everywhere you know what I'm saying, like, I, yeah, I can't believe a lot. I says, are you paying late fees? Nah, they don't charge me lay fees, just the flat twenty five dollars a month per lane twenty five dollars a month. They don't charge the laate fee. I shoot them. They twenty five. They put my wings, they clip my wings back on or turn my wings back on, and I get back jumping, which is is a huge problem for me though, because I'm always connected to the Wi Fi. My office is in my home, so I'm always connected to the Wi Fi unless I'm moving around. I have had a problem one time where I was going to deliver. I was going to make a delivery and I had picked up some freight and I had forgot to pay my bill and my business line was to get disconnected. So that shit got real. That got hectic. You feel me, That got hectic. But anyway, salute to you all though, man, thank you all so much once again. Uh the black coffee, the black coffe excuse me, the simple truth minute manyo, www dot the minutemanual dot com and go over and get your uh your copies man. And also uh, the show is brought to you by the Black gentem and Grooming Company. Salute to the family. Man, hey, man, So let's get straight into it. Man, we ain't up saying to be playing around. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome once again, Welcome, uh for the first time, the sun, Welcome back to most this morning. I want to challenge one of the biggest lives we've been telling ourselves real quickly because I got to get out, you know, because we got a whole lot of stuff going on. Man, it's a whole lot going on around here. You've you feel me, It's a whole lot going on around here. And I think I like it. I think I like it. But one of the biggest lies that we've been telling ourselves is we believe that our future is determined by what we want. It absolutely ain't. And ain't you feel me? And ain't we believe our identity is determined by our intentions. It ain't. It absolutely ain't. I'm gonna come in early and give you a verdict just off the top of the dome. I'm gonna come off the top rope, and then we might just go ahead on and talk about some other shit. You feel me, We're gonna talk boxing, and the couple guys give me a couple of hours and then we'll talk boxing. We might talk about the heat. We got a heat wave, you feel me, we might talk about that. I don't know, but the verdict is, you are not becoming what you want. You're not becoming what you want, King Vonnie, we are not becoming what we want. Salute to the guy, my brother, the guy in the building, Solute, the Tiffy two in a building, my beautiful sister, Tiffy two. What's up with your girl? You're not becoming what you want. You are becoming what you keep repeating. That's the conversation because every repeated behavior, every repeated decision, every repeated excuse, every repeated act of discipline, every repeated compromise, every repeated standard is casting a vote for the person you are becoming. Hence, your habits are voting. I kept talking about voting. A couple of you all hit me up, like, what are you talking about? When you say voting. You're casting a vote. Your decisions is casting a vote. And I said, okay, we'll just talk about it. Everything. Every decision, excuse, discipline, compromise, standard, every repeated behavior is casting a vote for the person you are becoming. Whether you realize it or not, you are practicing for your future. Yeah, so gone and pour your coffee. Gone, head on and get you get your man right, get your favorite morning beverage. I know I'm late, so some of y'all are on your second cup of coffee. But we're gonna work this morning, So get your coffee. Man, Sit back, relax or keep moving with your day, and let's tell the truth. Let's tell the truth. Let's get it. So. I'm hustled harder than the moment. I'm a feast on these streets. Got a revolver I told for these niggas trying to take me off the block where our points up daily sit baibies out. The bottle is smoke, Yes, lord, yes, lord, man, let's get to work. People love dramatic change. People love dramatic change. You feel me, Yeah, people love. Men decide that they're gonna change something, they announce it to the world and they tell everybody that can listen, that would listen. You understand what I'm saying. They love dramatic changes. Women go through dramatic changes. And what do they do they do? They do a whole big dramatic thing. You feel me. Women go through a breakup, what they do They cut off their hair and get on some ball head. Whole shit. Men go through a breakup. What do they do? They jump back out there, They get back out there, and they try to they try to be busy little bees pollinating every flower. You feel me. People love dramatic changes. Kids said, you got to chill. What's up with my sister? Noll of the great kid? You know, I ain't laying. I ain't laying. Whomen get their heart broke and they cut their hair off and get on some ball head. Oh shit me, and get their heart broke, and they get out in the streets and they just get every bucket head they can get. They amassed a collection of bucket heads, and you put them all together and you don't got one quality piece of as at all. If we're gonna have a real conversation, let's have a real conversation. You understand what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Well, Junior, what makes a quality piece I ass? A quality piece I asked, is a piece I ass that you can talk to more than just the ice? Big dance? What's up with your homie? Salute to you? Yeah? Yeah, nah man, get out of here? You feel me? M m m so anyway, man, people love dramatic change. Life rarely works that way. Though. Identity isn't built in one decision, you feel me. It's built in thousands. Like your identity, like the person that you are, is built by thousands of decisions. Think about the thousands of decisions that you've made to get you to be the person and to have the identity that you have right now. Nobody accidentally becomes disciplined. Nobody accidentally becomes lazy. Excuse me that that coffee coming up rough? Nobody accidentally becomes lazy. Did you hear what I said? Nobody accidentally becomes trustworthy? You feel me. You think the motherfucker just woke up and just all of a sudden they trustworthy and you can you can, you can trust them with your shit. Nobody accidentally becomes unreliable. Yeah, you know that motherfucker you asked to do something and then you know you're gonna end up doing it yourself, but you ask them anyway because of the pageantry. A lot of y'all, excuse me, a lot of us got relationships that are based on pageantry, Like, yeah, it's supposed to be I notice, Molly ain't gonna come through, but the pageantry says that I'm supposed to do X, Y and Z. You feel me, man, what's up? What you can't underscore it? So a little to your hummy excuse me? Yeah, So anyway, nobody accidentally becomes unreliable. Those identities are earned. You feel me, one repetition at a time. Every morning you hit the snooze button, I'm guilty. Every morning you hit the snooze button. You're practicing delay, every promise, every promise you keep. You're practicing integrity every workout. You practicing discipline, every excuse. You're practicing avoidance. You feel me. Yeah, your identity is built. Your identity is not built by what you believe. It's built about what you repeatedly do. What you repeatedly do build's your identity. Your habits are introducing. Your habits are introducing you long before your words ever can your habits are introducing you long before your words ever can. Like, I'm just, I'm just, I'm stupid, man, You feel me, and I literally and I'm a person like I literally see the world in patterns. So I can't help but watch habits and I'm stupid. You feel me. Look, La Ladi says, I set my alarm early so I can hit the snooze Junia, we're practicing delay. I do too. My alarms go off it I got alarm. I'm supposed to get up at four thirty and set my alarm and like foe, man, I can hit the snooze once or twice. You think about how stupid that is, La La, me and you. We in this together two p He's in a pod. Baby. You know how stupid we are that we literally set an alarm early so that we can hit the snooze button. You know how diabolical we are. I'm gonna fix my alarm today or I'm gonna fix my life. I'm gonna fix my life like ayalla. Yeah, your habits are introducing you long before you your worst ever. Can I see the world in patterns. I'm gonna tell y'all a secret. I'm judgmentalist. Fuck. Some of y'all gonna get offended, but I don't care. It is what it is. Do you realize? In twenty twenty six, I love y'all. Right, I'm gonna tell yall the truth about me. Some of y'all gonna get mad. It's cool. I know. I know some of y'all gonna get mad because I'm finna throw a rock and it's gonna hit you. You did me, It's gonna hit. It's gonna hit somebody. Just this bit. Love your brother like I love you. You feel me? In twenty twenty six, I don't trust people to smoke cigarettes. Aymen, If you smoke cigarettes, man, fuck you? Hey man, I love y'all. Man, I love y'all. Man, I love you. I love you. I do, I do, I do, I do? I do? Hey man, if you smoke cigarettes, you smoke menthols cuz I'm hey, cause like I've got to question your whole life decisions. Mother. You are kids said you shouldn't they savages? You smoke it's twenty twenty six cause you smoke cigarettes. Oh man, are you out of your mind? Salut to my brother, be about a forest in the building, he said, learn how to tell yourself I'm fullish shit when you on bullshit, then make the media corrections and move on. These is facts with tax like he saying, nah, man, that's why I just said a lot like we full of shit. We hit the snoop, We set the alarm button and hit the snooze button. Man, it's some bullshit. I'm cutting that shit out to myra. You hear me. If you smoke cigarettes, I don't trust you. Some of y'all don't dropped off. I love y'all, and I know a few of y'all actually smoked cigarettes. Hey man, I fuck you. Man, I be looking like, hey, cuz cigarettes. Cuz all the motherfuckers cigarettes cigarettes. Hey man, I got it. She probably gonna hear this and be mad at me. I just had my thirtieth class reunion last weekend, family, you feel me. Not this past weekend, but the last weekend we did the whole black rodeo thing. It was a beautiful thing. One of my classmates like, I'm looking at my classmates. Some of them smoked cigarettes, and shit, I'm looking at them. One of my classmates, she show up, she got her cigarettes, she got her cigaret ass tucked in her titties. You feel me. She got her cigarettes tucked in her bosoms, A pack of cigarettes, a whole pack of up myn dolls. I look, I said, oh no, she baby didn't turn it into auntie. You know your nasty auntie that that this man this I'm finna make enemy of somebody I'll love like I love. I love these people. She had her cigarettes tucked in her had her h you feel me shirt and her blouse, and she got her cigarettes tucked in herti. I'm looking like, oh no, you know the nasty auntie that had the used to have her cigarettes tucked in her tatars? You feel me? And what was the thing about y'all nasty auntie that had her cigarettes tucked in the tatars. If we gonna come in here and talk, we're gonna have real conversations. If we're gonna have a real conversation, she had roaches. Your nasty auntie that had the cigarettes tucked in her tata, she had she had roaches. I ain't saying my homegirl got roaches. I don't think my homegirl cool. She good money? You feel me, I ain't putting I ain't putting the roaches jacket on her. But you know your auntie that had the cigarettes tucked in the titties had had roaches. Man, can we have a real conversation about self? Master, We're gonna bullshit. Like I told you, I'm taking all the cut off the duck. We ain't playing around no more. If we're gonna come in here and do it, we're gonna come in here and do it. You feel me? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So that's my that's my guilty confession. If you smoke cigarettes twenty twenty six, Man, I don't trust you. I'm you just are a complete animal to me. Man, I don't even understand it. You feel me? La La Di said no, but her lips were purple. Naw, the purple. Let people be the people that really be smoking weed. You feel me. I don't know too many what maybe so I had to think about it, she said, your aunt they kept her cigarettes in the she smoked weed too. Then she was just a she was just a chiefer, all right. Man, I want you to think differently about your habits. Okay, your habits. Think about your habits. You feel me? Dad said, no sig, No SIGs in my ride house or outside, et cetera. Like I said, yeah, she did smoke weed. Let me tell y'all my cigarette story. When I first bought my house, like I got my house. Now my house is out in in the rural country, like I got you feel me. My neighbors over here, My neighbors up the hill got they got chickens, ducks, rabbits, go. They got some real life cash money shit going on up there. Then my neighbors across they got a whole bunch of land, and they got farm behind their house. Then the neighbors directly deck to them. These motherfuckers got lamas and our pakas and horses, and they got all kinds of shit. You feel they got all kind of livestock. Frank. So, I got my house. I'm out the way, and I'm about I'm about thirty minutes away from where I grew up and standing what I'm saying out the way, I'm tucked off. So I had the I had a fight party for Mayweather versus Mani Pacquiao. I had a diaper party. My oh, my middle daughter was on the way, you feel me. My middle daughter was on the way. My baby, she was on the way. And so I had a pamper party. You feel me, So you come watch the fight, eat food, drink liquor, kicking with us, get to see the house all that old shit. Bring a pack of Pampers with you. You understand what I'm saying. So everybody came brought pampers, you feel me. So we got it in. Everybody was drinking liquor, moving around, so on and so forth. I got a deck, you know what I'm saying, A nice sized deck in the back of my house. Of course, a long drive like you know. So when it's all over, you know, everybody's in and out, my uncle's cousins, everybody in and out, moving all around and shit. So the next morning, you know, I'm kind of you know, I didn't already did the trash and stuff, but I'm just kind of, you know, chilling or whatever. And I go outside and I literally had it was probably like seventy five to one hundred cigarette butts, all in my driveway, all in my grass, you feel me. Some of them made it into my neighbor's yard and I'm in there. I'm going off like I have a complete meltdown. You understand what I'm saying, Like I have an absolute, complete meltdown. Y'all remember trading places when Eddie Murphy had to had to when not Eddie Murphy, what was his name, Billy Ray Valentine, he had the he had the party and they was in this It was in there disrespecting his crib and he said, hey, who put that cools out on the flow? Who put that cools out? H'm afloat. That's how it was. Man. I was outside going bananas, and I'm like, you know what, It'll never happened again. I ain't had an I haven't had an event to my at my house since you feel me. We've done, We've done, We've done some, We've done a little smaller, you know what I mean. Situation with you know what I'm saying with with with Thanksgiving and you know, the holidays and stuff, but never nothing to that magnitude. I probably had seventy seventy five people in myles. You know what I'm saying, Ain't no way you feel me, Ain't no way I'd never do that again ever. Man, I was heated. Cigarette smokers are some savages. Savages anyway, I want you to think about your habits differently. We already twenty four minutes in and I ain't talked about nothing worth worth of. Damn. Let me put my hood on. I act differently when I got my hood on. Let's get to work. Be about a Farce said, I don't smoke SIGs, but I grow my own Connecticut shade leaf tobacco. That's good wrapping tobacco day. Yeah, that Connecticut is a real good. I didn't know you grew your own Connecticut. Or I might need some I might need some parts. Might I might need some parts? King Bonney said, disrespectful, Hey man, be about Lafarne said, did you put them all out like when they broke a place toilet in their house party? Hey man, I literally put them folks out as soon as the fight was over, like all right, y'all gotta go like literally. And I was like, nah, literally, I love y'all, y'all gotta go like literally. I put everybody out as soon as the fight was over, like it was man, get out out. I'm putting my uncles out aunts. I love them people that raised me. Y'all gotta go, it's time to go, you feel me? Man, I was done. I was done. I want you to think about your habits different think about them differently. All right. Every habit is a vote. It's a vote. Every workout is a vote. Every book is a vote. Every unnecessary purchase guilty a vote. Every angry outburst it is a vote. Every difficult conversation that you avoid is a vote. Every day you choose structure is a vote. You are constantly voting for the person that you'll eventually become. The scary part is you don't need unanimous votes because your identity is built by a majority vote. If six days out of seven you choose comfort, then comfort is going to win. If six days out of seven you choose discipline, then discipline is going to win. Stop asking who do I want to become? You feel me? And start asking, shit, what am I voting for? Every day? That's the question. Stop looking at your habits the wrong way. Every habit is a vote. Look at them as votes. I mean that, like, I really need you to look at them as votes, because your habits are voting their votes. Look at them that way. One of the biggest casualties of your inconsistency. Right, let's talk about being inconsistent, because we are. We can admit it. We can admit it, we be on some bullshit. We can admit it. You feel me. One of the biggest casualties of our inconsistency is self trust, the mere fact that your inconsistency will lead to you not no longer believing in yourself. I'm starting Monday. You feel me. We'll see I'm serious this time. Maybe you feel me. Uh, I'm gonna lose this weight. You feel me. We've heard this before. Your mind remembers every broken promise, every excuse, every delay, every negotiation. Self confidence doesn't create uh follow through. Self confidence doesn't create follow through. Follow through create self confidence. Every promise you keep, you become more believable. You feel me to yourself. Every promise you keep, you become more believable to yourself. And that matters. That matters because the relationship you have with yourself determines the quality of every other relationship you build. Now, I don't know if Nella' still in here, but god damn it, I should stop the show right there. The salute to my sister. Take take sweet Take Tay Brown over there on the rumble, She said, we rumbling salute to you. Thank you so much. You feel me? Hey be about a Farence said, shit, this ain't boxing ain't no unanimous ain't no unanimous decisions in real life. That's a fact. Be about a farce, says say that part again, good brother, bro Every relationship, or excuse me, the relationship that you have with yourself determines the quality of every other relationship you build. So when you look at life and you look at motherfuckers, that's just miserable. I ain't got no good relationship with nobody. They don't have a good relationship with themselves. You feel me. How you gonna have a good relationship with anybody and you don't have a good relationship with yourself. The quality of your relationship with people is literally determined by the relationship that you have with yourself. The relationship you have with yourself determines the quality of every other relationship that you build. Man, I really should stop talking here. Look around your life. You feel me, not your dreams, not your vision board, not your intentions, your actual life. Look at your actual life, your finances, your health, your relationships, your peace, your structure, your discipline, you feel me, your body, your calendar, you underst your environment. They all tell the same story. Your repeated standards, You don't rise to your goals, you fall to the level of your standards, and your standards become habits. Habits become your identity, and identity becomes your life. If you want another life, you need you don't need another dream. You need another repetition. Yeah, you need another You need another repetition and a grill one Saluie's. They said, that's an affirmation, So yeah, yeah. The relationship you have with yourself determines the quality of every other relationship that you build. Motherfuckers have tumultuous relationships with their kids because you got a tumultuous relationship with yourself. You have a tumultuous relationship with your spouse, because because you have a tumultuous relationship with yourself, got a tumultuous relationship with with with friends, because you have a tumultuous relationship with yourself. The fuck is be living in turmoil. Do you hear me in turmoil? And you take that ship and you sprinkle that turmoil throughout the world every day. Man, if you want another life, you don't need another dream, you need another repetition. I told y'all, we gotta come. We gotta do the work, man, we gotta do the work. I gotta get out of here. Man. We got a long day of content and I gotta do the work, So I gotta go. But we gotta do the work. You feel me, you gotta get those reps in be about a farms. You got to got to get them rep sin. Yeah, because the relationship you have with yourself determines the quality of every other relationship you build. Man, That shit makes me emotional, period and I ain't coming off of that. And your relationship with yourself is literally predicated on the promises that you keep to yourself, like your word to yourself. Do you trust yourself? Do you trust yourself? Man, let me go, because we're gonna go on and on and on about that, and we're gonna go deeper into that, but that's gonna be over on the network. Yeah. King Bonnie said, you're worth the effort. Family, he's talking to the chat. You are worth the effort. You're worth the effort. It's you are worth coming in here and getting with like minded people before we go listen to the celebrity gossip. You feel me, you are worth coming in here and literally spending some time pouring into yourself and pouring into each other before we go look at the highlights from the BT Awards. You feel me. You are worth that man, You are you are you are, you are so Today my challenge is simple, ask yourself, what behavior am I repeating that is creating the wrong identity? Hi, what behavior am I repeating that is creating the wrong identity? Stop looking at one bad day and look at the pattern, because patterns predict people. Patterns predict people. And then choose one repetition. Be about a Farence just said, you gotta get them reps in. Choose one new repetition, not ten one Felix neon as, what's up with it? Bronell the Grace said, I love y'all, Nella, I love you, We love you. Man. You so important to this community. Man, and you don't even know, like you just be thinking, you just be thinking. You just hear, you understand what I'm saying? Like, Nah, you important to this community? People be when you ain't here, people say, man, where's Nella? That's a bar. I don't know where Nella is. That's a bar, like man, But anyway, I ain't finnling, y'all gonna have me up here hugging myself like a baby. Choose one new repetition today, not ten, just one one repeated action, one repeated standard, one repeated discipline. Lilah, we talk about this snooze. Maybe we need to go to bed. You feel me? Maybe we need to go to bed early. Standing what I'm saying. Maybe we need to go to bed at ten o'clock. That's ten o'clock Eastern Standard time. You feel me, and then you go to bed at ten o'clock Central time. You feel me? Maybe we need because that ten o'clock. If I go to bed at ten, like literally in the bed at ten, shed, when at folk? When at four? When at four am? Alarm clock? Rocking and rolling? I can get up? You feel me? Then shit? I mean, I mean I'm in the gym, I'm fast. Then shit, I'm on the show on time seven forty five. We got it rolling, Maybe even shedn't daddy, we got it rolling? One one, not ten, one repeated action, one, repeated standard, one repeated discipline. I think I'm gonna start. I think I am going to because this is the one that really be bothering me. So I gotta raise up on time. So I gotta go to bed on time, so I can raise up on time, and that's just what that's got to be. Yeah, one repeated discipline, because tomorrow's identity begins with one repetition. In my in my be about a farm's voice, Get them reps in one repetition. That's it. Yeah, tomorrow's identity begins with one repetition one. So I'm gonna lead y'all. My brother King Vonnie said me today. You feel me if you conquer your mornings, you conquer your day every trip.
