Grab your coffee, your favorite morning beverage. Sits still just for a moment, man, just briefly, because next week is already here, and it's starting to demand your attention. Anybody already starting to think about next week? Like you know what I mean? You know I ain't laying because that's how the weeks are set up. And it's Friday, So we were buttoning, were buttoning up this week, but we're already starting to focus on next week and starting to look at the calendar for next week. So before we get to all off, all off into that, it's still for because today we're reviewing something. We're reviewing something. Friday Fridays are for reviews. We put the black magic on the tire and get the wax off the chrome and my twister voice. We're reviewing something, not your intentions. We're not reviewing your intentions. We're not reviewing the ideas. We're gonna review your protection. We're gonna review your protection because once again, here's the truth. Your priorities never fail you. We get at this time of the week, we look at what we haven't done, what we were supposed to be a priority, and didn't get done, and we just feel like the priorities failed us. No, your priorities never failed you. You failed to protect them. Your priorities never failed you. You failed to protect them. So you gotta sit with that because most people say I just didn't have enough time when they get to this week. I got too busy, this week was crazy. This week just got away from me. But when you really take a look at it, and you really truly look at it, and you dissect that whole thing, you realize is that the issue isn't the priority. The issue usually isn't the priority. The issue is drum I should man, I think I got a drum roll, the drum roll. The issue is the access man. It's the access man. Too many interruptions during your week. Now, sit here and think about all of the interruptions that you endured this week. There were too many reactions. Sit here and think about all of the reactions that you had this week. There were too many open doors. And eventually, what mattered the most this week, what mattered the most for you to get done this week got pushed aside. It got pushed aside. And that's the truth. So this morning, if we don't do anything else. We're gonna tell the truth about the week. Let's get it. One. So I'm hustled harder than the most. I'm a feast on these streets. Got a revolver I told for these niggas trying to take me off the block, way out, points up, daily set, Bailey's out the bottles, smoke. Yes, and leda. As we embark on a self mastery conversation, we always we always uh commence with brother Mob saluted for our sniper in a building. What's up with you, bro? We always commenced with brother Mob. I don't know what. I don't know what it is about uh brother Mob. But the moment he says, I hustle harder than most, like I literally have a My body has a reaction. You feel me. There's just this reaction, man, I hustle harder than most. I'm a beast on the streets. Gotta revolve. I tote. Yeah. It's it's, it's, it's, it's it's. It's it's ludicrous. It's ludicrous, all right, man, it's preposter preposterous. My reaction to that song is preposterous. Your schedule tells the truth about your priorities. It's not your words, Nope, not your intentions, it's your s. Because everybody says certain things matter, like everybody says certain things matter. My health matters, family matters, my purpose matters, growth matters, my focus matters. But your calendar, that's where the truth lives. That's where the truth lives. And I always have beef with y'all. Sleup to my homie for our sniper in the building, what's up with you? Brow? And I always have beef with you because I talk about everybody has a calendar, but you keep a professional calendar. But then personally there is no calendar. So your personal time is just and I'm thinking about it like, man, if ever, if there was any time that you should be really intentional about your time and knowing where you are and what you're going to be doing and where you're gonna be so on and so forth, if there was any time that should be your personal time, how do you do all of that with your with your work time? And then personal time is just Yeah, but everybody says things matter, but your calendar that's where the truth live is. So let me ask you what actually receives your time this week? Like what actually truly receives your time this week, not what you hope would happened, but what actually happened, like what happened this week? Because every week, like every week, your schedule will reveal your real commitments. You understand what I'm saying, Like how much time did you spend building that thing versus being on social media? How much time did you spend organizing a closet because you know it's driving you crazy versus social media, versus being on television versus doom scrolling on your phone. How much time did you spend folding that laundry versus looking to be entertained. Yeah, your schedule reveals your real commitments. And if your important work constantly gets pushed aside, that's not accidental. That's structural. Like if your important work, like the important work like for me, the things that are gonna keep me absolutely insane, keeps getting pushed aside, that's not accidental, Like, that's structural. I just when I was coming down here, I'm telling truth on myself, I looked at my office. My office is in absolute, complete disarray. And I looked at my office and I said, like, damn, I gotta get that together. This weekend. That's been one of the things this week that I've been pushing the side. I have to get my office together because as I look to create more content, I need to shoot more content from the office, and not just the studio, not just the van, not just outside. You feel me. I need to be able to utilize my office because during the day, that's where I spend the majority of my time, especially that I'm in this phase of building and transitioning. Me not clean. Having my office clean by today, and that was one of my goals this week. That's not accidental, that's structural because I can tell you all the amount of time that I spent watching NBA basketball doom scrolling. You feel me. I didn't watch any other TV besides back, but you get what I'm saying. So now let's talk about boundaries, because this is where your priorities either survive or die. You understand, your priorities are either going to survive or die with your boundaries. I don't think I've ever described it to you like that, but it's do or die with your boundaries when it comes to your priorities. Most people don't lose focus because they like discipline. You feel me, they lose focus because everything has access to them. Everything has access to them. Everything has access. I said, I was gonna stop talking like that, and I was gonna be more direct. Everything has access to you. You don't lose focus because you lack discipline. You lose focus because everything has access to you. People, notifications, distractions, urgencies, interruptions, And every time you allow that random access, every time you let it in your priorities lose protection. Yeah, So ultimately, when we talk about focus, you gotta protect it like you protect your home. We're gonna come back to that. You gotta protect it like you protect your home. You feel me, and I don't know if you anything like me, like, cause you gonna you come to my career of unannounced. Man, You're gonna it's gonna be t you gonna catch trouble, Like, don't nobody just come to my house unannounced and get in and I'm actually looking and going to purchase this week and no solicitation, saying because I got them. People then got too comfortable coming over here, solictening, bringing a doorbell and shit in the middle of the day and all that. Man, get out of here, bro. People don't like man. People don't answer the doors. No more man for random solicitors. Are you crazy? Man? It's people and then they be playing clothes. You can't tell who's who. I don't know if I need to listen to you and get get my check book out, or if I need to shoot you. But an you ask another conversation because we got to protect our focus. But anyway, everything has access to you, and every time you allow that random access in your priorities lose their protection. Yeah, what matters the most in your life should have the strongest boundaries. What matters the most should have the strongest boundaries, not the weakest. But most people do the opposite. People protect distractions and leave priorities exposed. And that's why the important work gets crowded out. And it's not because it wasn't important, but because it wasn't defended. People protect distractions. People protect distractions and leave priorities exposed. You got a protective case on your cell phone. You gotta protective. You got a protective case on your cell phone. But then you run around and talk to anybody that are listening about your vision and your dreams. I don't know who need to hear that, but you do what you will with that, You do what you will with that. All right, man, Let's get honest now, let's said bars Bars hey, man, say man, I thought you know we're early. Now I think everybody's still sleep. Do you feel me? I think y'all still sleep. Y'all. Get y'all ass up, Get y'allass up so we can get to it. She said, I just got hit. I wasn't. I meant it. I meant it, y'all meant it. But I'm really hitting myself. I'm punching on myself. So I got all kind I got screen protectors, I got privacy screens and shit on my cell phone. I'm protecting the distraction. But then I just sh my dreams and vision and the shit that's going to change the trajectory of my stars. It's just exposed. It's just out here. I willing nilly. I pick it up, put it down when I feel like it. Nah, man, yeah, yah, yeah. It's craziness. But all right, let's get honest, man, Let's get honest so we can get on out of here. Shutting the l DBC. What's up? Which I see you off on the rumble and shout out to everybody tune into the live stream. Man, thank you all so much, replay game, Salute to the family, Man, Salute to the replay game. Man, thank you all so much, and shout out to my podcast family Man, my first love, hashtag Junior Mafia and me live Formili I love you. Now, let's get honest, because this is where growth actually happens. Man, we can't. We gotta. We gotta get beat up on before we grow. That's just the truth. Most people build fantasy schedules, and those schedules are based on hope not reality. Think about how many times you overload the day. Think about what I said I was gonna stop doing it. So let me go back. You build fantasy schedules, and you build your schedules based on hope not reality. You overload the day, you over commit, you underestimate distractions, you ignore energy, and then wonder why the execution breaks down like it's man. I get man, I'm telling you, man, and I've been bad for years. Man, I've been so bad for years where people just spring up shit on me. You understand what I'm saying. All Man, we're doing such such and I've been I've been the man. I ain't trying to go off on this story and on this tangent. But I've been to put stuff down and go do stuff for other folks person for a long time. Like you feel me, cause I feel like I gotta be there, I gotta support, I gotta you know. And meanwhile, my purpose, my priorities are sitting over here looking at me like you feel me, because I've I put it, I put them down and go pick this up. All so just just need this as just such graduating, Oh such and such, all such and such. Yeah, but our schedules are based on hope, not reality. Over commitment, underestimate distractions, ignore energy, and then wonder why the execution breaks down. Here's the truth that nobody wants to deal with. But it's cool, and honest schedule protects your focus. I said, honest schedule, And honest schedule protects your focus. A dishonest schedule creates frustration. So when you dishonest with your schedule, you create frustration. You wonder why you're so frustrated, Wonder why you so flustered during the week because you have a dishonest schedule. Motherfucker. You can't be everywhere and do everything. It's not possible, you feel me, it's not possible. Man. You might have one one outlier event out of me per week. You might have one. You might have one other than that. Man, I'm you know, between work, between family, between things I have to do, practices, trainings, so on and so for. You might have one outlier event out of me one one per week, maybe maybe one bi weekly, you feel me, maybe bi weekly. An honest schedule protects focus. This honest schedule creates frustration. You cannot schedule your life like you're a machine. You need recovery, you need margin, you need deep work, you need focused windows, you need distraction control. That's how sustainable execution works. To ask your scale self, did your schedule support your priorities this week? That's a you you conversation. Did your schedule support your priority priorities this week or compete against them? Y'ah? Was it with your schedule? Did your schedule support your priorities this week? Or did it compete against them? Mine competed. My schedule competed with my priorities. Because I tell y'all, one of my major priorities is to get my office clean, and it's not done. It's worse than it. It's worse than it's worser than its severn being worse, or Dennis ever being worse Denis sever Ben. Huh you feel me? Put that rose on y'all at worser Dennis seven Ben well worse her Dennis sever Ben God so mighty dog. Now for the good news. This is fixable. This is fixable. Not not through motivation like this ain't no motivation. This is through adjustment, through making adjustments. This is fixable. You need a system. You need system. We put that up there. You need a system. You need a system. You can try The Minute Manual system written and curated by yours truly Jullian The Truth, Www. Dot The Minute, Mayo dot com. You need a system, even if it's not that system. Need a system because this is fixable. This is a This is fixable through adjustments. Most people think failure means start over. Like people think they fail, they got to start over, go back to scratch, And that's not that's not the truth. No, failure means you can adjust the structure. Just adjust the structure. That's growth. You feel me. In a lot of ways with regard to our priorities, we've come too far to like to start over. You feel me, and that's that emotional shit like I'm talking about me, Like I get frustrated, I get emotional and I just ripped the paper up and just throw it and start from scratching and forgot what the fuck I wrote and everything that's me, Like I'm a I get frustrated in turns just savage and make horrible decisions when I'm frustrated, frustration leads to emotion. You feel me because in that frustration, I've lost control and I'm a person that I don't like. I need to be I like and love and flourish and thrive when there's control. Now, all you have to do is a just the structure, that's the growth. You don't need to become a different person. You need a better system than what you have right now. And if you don't have a system, no system is indeed a system. You feel me, and you need a better one. You need a better You don't need to become a different person, You just need a better system. You need better boundaries, you need better protection, you need better clarity. So instead of asking why am I feeling, you don't have to ask that why this ain't working? You don't have to ask that. You can ask what structured failed to protect? What mattered? Something failed to protect? What mattered? Maybe the fact that you never even realized that it actually needed protecting. And that question is going to change everything because you can stop attacking tack and stop attacking yourself and start improving your system. You feel me getting angry with yourself, getting unnerved with yourself just because it's not working the way you want it to work. No, adjust the system. You can make adjustments to the system. Let's make this practical before next week starts. I want you to review through three things. Number One, what actually mattered to you this week? Not emotionally, not operationally? What got your best time? What really got your best time? You feel me? Was it work? Was it church? Was it? What? What got your best time this past week? What actually mattered this week was the social media? Was it the new show? You feel Me? Because motherfuckers be talking about to the show. I don't even knowing what people be talking about. They be talking about shows like everything is much much must see TV. And I'm sitting there looking like, man, how do y'all get this time to watch all this goddamn TV? Like I ain't hating or nothing, But damn, I be shit. Everybody be talking about the shows like, oh man, you gotta watch such and such, like damn, I'm missing everything. What actually mattered this week? Number two? What interrupted your priorities? What interrupted your priorities? Was it people? Was it your was it social media? Was it poor planning? Was it lack of boundaries? You gotta identify it clearly. You gotta identify it clearly. For me, it was poor planning. I wanted to get my office done. I didn't plan. I didn't plan. It was pissed poor planning on my behalf. That's the truth. And number three is what will you what will you protect differently next week? Just one adjustment, one adjustment, one stronger boundary, one protected block. That's how you build your momentum. For me, I'm gonna take I'm gonna take out starting that ain't gonna be today, and it probably won't be tomorrow. Honestly speaking. Then Mother's Day is Sunday, But starting Monday, I'm gonna take out a two hour block every day and I'm gonna do I'm gonna work specific it's gonna be one hour, it's gonna be a one hour block every day, and I'm gonna specifically work on doing something to get my office in order bit by bit. So what will you protect differently next week? That's it. We got to close this out. This is a simple conversation, man, Like, this is simple, and I'm not saying it's easy. It's simple, but it's powerful. Your priorities don't fail you randomly. They don't fail you randomly at all. Yeah. Yeah, Striving glow with Joe said, don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today. Don't leave for tomorrow what you can do today. Your priorities don't fail randomly. They fail when they stay exposed, when everything can interrupt, when everything can access them, when everything feels equally urgent. But once you start protecting what matters, something changes, like your focus sharpens, your execution improves, and clarity increases. And it's not because your life became easy. It's because your priorities finally became protected. Yeah. So I got a question on the way out the dough what are you gonna protect better next week? That's my question. What are you going to protect better next week? What are you gonna protect better next week? The truth is, your priorities never failed you. You fail to protect them, you fail to protect your priorities. Hey man, this is the Black Coffee Club around here. Man. We don't just set priorities. We defend them like you gotta fight. Man. Salute to y'all. This is Junior the Truth Sign. Thanking you so much for taking the time to tuny and really truly genuinely appreciate y'all.
