The Facts fun per se se se se fas still scene. Scene Man. Man, Man, Man, Man, what's up with it? Family? What's up with it? Family? What's the damn deal? Man? This is Junior the Truth, Man, and this is indeed the Black Gentleman Podcast. Man, we're back. We're back. Man. Salute to everybody, Man, Salute to everybody. Thank y'all so much, Man for taking the time to jump in here and chop it up on this podcast. Man with me. This is episode thirty one. Yeah, ah, Man, and I missed. I really truly missed the I really truly missed the podcast. I really truly missed the podcast. I couldn't think of a I couldn't think of a better thing to do, Man, and to bring the Black Gentleman Podcast back. Man, So we are indeed here. Salute to the family. Man. Thank y'all so much. Man, thank y'all so very much. Much. Before we even get started, I wanna, I wanna. I want to issue out. I want to issue out an apology. Man. I wanted to officially apologize to the my podcast family. Man. I want to officially apologize to my podcast family. Man. Podcasting is Man, It's how I really truly came into the space of content creation. It started with podcasting. The first people that that that you know, ever consumed any of my content were people who actually consume podcasts. And I started podcasting far before any of the other mediums, far before I was really active on social media, far before any YouTube videos, far before any of that, it was podcasting. And man, I guess, if I could say it this way, podcasting is is it's my It's my It's like my first love of content creation, and I've gone away from it, you know what I mean, I've kind of I've kind of strayed away from creating the podcast where I used to, you know, I would come in, I'd record the podcast, I would you know, upload the podcast, and that would be it, you know what I mean. And I've really truly fallen in love with I've fallen in love with uh live streaming well after the you know, it was podcasting first, and then from podcasts, and I got into making videos, like actually creating the videos and then uploading videos. And from there I got in really into editing, you know what I mean, really really took a spin into and took a stab a really editing editing and editing is by far, I don't know, it's the most time consuming, like editing is most is the most time consuming. And so then from there, you know, we kind of got into the live streaming and focusing on you know, the live streaming, you know, by way of the morning shows and so on and so forth, and I've gotten away from the podcast. And it went from you know, Okay, I'm gonna have a podcast, you know what I mean, I'm gonna do it, you know, a couple of times a week to all right, I'll do it, you know, uh once a week to here and there too. I just totally went away from podcasting. And then I just got a while here, and I'm like, it wasn't a while here. I got a reminder that I had a gang of people who just were just you know, like they they're here for the podcast, you know what I mean. They're not here for the punch Junkie morning shows. They're not here for the video snippets, you know what I mean, or the editive videos or any of that is the actual podcast. And I think the people who really have been rocking with me the longest, you know, are those who just really they were here for the podcast, and I kind of went away from that, and so I want to apologize to them. Man, I've been getting the daily I've been getting the reminders quite often. I won't say daily, but I've getting I've been getting the reminders like, hey man, we need the podcast. Bro, you feel me like what you're doing. Bro, we need a podcast. We need that black gent you feel me. We need that podcast. And I'm like, man, yeah, I'm all right, all right, all right, all right, you know what I mean. And then I'm looking at it and I'm I'm a I'm funny styff, so you know, I'm I'm one of them ones that you know, people will say, hey man, we need this, Hey we need that, Hey we need that, and I'm I'm I'm I'm like, man, people always need something, you feel me, and then you know, it's like people will give you some something else to do. Like that's how I take a lot of stuff. Like people will be like, hey man, we need this, you feel me, and hey man, we need that ay man, I'm like, yeah, okay, cool, you feel me. People will say you need they need something, and then you do it and they don't even support it, Like I'm one of them. So I'm looking at it like, but then I realized that, No, I came into game podcasting, you feel me, and and before all of this other stuff, you know what I mean, I was a podcaster, you know what I mean. They use it, they call it shock jockey, you feel me. I was one of them. Before any of this. I was coming in here, you know, saying stuff that a lot of people felt was controversial, and you know, so on and so forth, and standing on my square and really truly uh being unapologetically who I am. And so I have to really truly get back to that, you know what I mean. The the Punch Junkie Morning show is cool, you know, the videos and stuff are cool and all of that. Everything's cool, but we have to definitely get back to the Black Gentleman podcast. And so I'm gonna try to structure excuse me, I'm gonna try to structure my my my, my content as such to include this man, not to exclude it, because we have a gang of people that are you know, here and there and there. You know. It's to the point now when you go through my catalog, you have to the podcasts are so few and far between, and there are some people who are just purely here for the podcast, you know what I mean. I know a lot of folks come into and come around my content because of the boxing, because of you know, a lot of different things. I'm gonna say this, and I'm gonna say it this way, and this is no knock or or any disrespect to anybody. But boxing is a very very very very niche. It's a very very tight niche space of the world. And my mind doesn't fit in that very very tight niche. You know what I mean. My mind is too abstract to be confined to any one space. Those of you all, you know, being around me, you know that, and so I have a hard time trying to fit, you know what I mean, my mind into just in this space of just talking about one particular thing. I'm too much of a I'm too much of an abstract thinker, you know what I'm saying. I'm too much of a too much of a creator. I'm too much of a jackass, to be honest with you, Excuse me. I'm one of those people that, you know, I feel inclined to push myself to beyond, you know what I mean, my own limitations. I push myself beyond my fears. I push myself, you know what I mean. And so so anyway, I'm i'm, I'm. This is going to be worked into my weekly content. That's the moral of the story. Now, it's not going to be structured. So you know, those who come around for the you know, the punch Junkie morning shows and so on and so forth, it's not going to be structured in that fashion. This is really truly literally a podcast. And and you know, when we have our podcast, it's just me and the actual listener, you know what I mean. So whoever's listening to this, however you listen to it, it's the podcast experience, you feel me, it's the truth to life Black Gentlemen podcast experience. Man. And we're back. So I'm so so very thankful since the last podcast, Man, a lot has transitioned, you know what I mean, A whole lot, A whole lot has happened. Uh, there's been a lot of transitioning, I know, for me personally and for just the world in general. But there's a lot of shit going on. Man, It's just a whole lot of shit. And we are in some very very very funny times, you know what I'm saying we're in some funny is not the right word. We are in. We're We're serious. We're in some serious times. You know, funny is not even close. When I said funny, I meant funny isn't not normal? Not funny is in hoh. So I don't want to I don't wanna uh. I want to be clear with my communication. We're in some very very uh man, we're in some very uh serious times. And it's it's you know, it's globally, but I really truly can only talk about us, you know, specifically with with with where we are in the land that our feet is on, our feet, our feet are on. And for those of y'all who are listening abroad, you know, I know we have a lot of people who are in the UK and in uh in other countries, you know, in Europe and and all over the world. I know you all are dealing with the things that you're dealing with, you know what I mean, everybody you know over in Europe, you know, they have a European are crisis, and there's a lot of things that you guys are dealing with as well, on top of the financial crisis, on top of a lot of the economies are collapsing and global inflation and you know, all of that stuff. We're just living in very very serious times, very very serious time. So a lot of that stuff has has come about also those of you all who you know a lot of folks, because once again a lot of people are here for the podcast, so you know, when they don't see the podcast, they kind of go away from everything else. But we've had a lot of stuff transpire, uh for me on a personal level. You know, we've launched the the uh, the Punch Junkie magazine, the first ever black owned boxing publication. We've launched that, and that's that's doing well, uh, in addition to several other legs of the Punch Junkie brand, uh, that being you know, we have our own merchandise shop there where you can go by you know, Punch Junkie merchandise. We also have launched our signature line of trading car arts, uh for specifically for boxers. Excuse me. Those are doing uh really well as well, you know what I mean. But we've kind of taken that brand and and and and began to press it and and uh get all kind of tentacles on it. You know, we have the news website, you know, the punch Junkie dot com UH news website. We also have launched the punch Junkie Network, which is actually a social media site specifically for boxing, specifically for the punch Junkie community. We call it the last real place in the world for fans of the sweet science. But you know, we've launched that as well. So UH it is, you know, beginning to get some traction. We're working out the kinks with the network. But it's similar to you know, your your favorite social media site is. You know, it's it's similar to UH in structure, Like it's similar to a Facebook where you go, you build out your profile, you connect with other folks talk, you know, there's a you know, a news feed or chaff so on and so forth. We make announcements, all of that good stuff. So that's going well. Man. We've just really truly have been working on building out that brand. Also, I wrote my first book, man. I wrote my first book, Man, The Simple Truth Minute Manual, UH, the one hour Book that have changed the way you watch the clock. And I've actually written, well, I've actually published my book. I wrote the book a while ago, but I actually published the book, man. So the book is available. The link is in the description wherever you're getting this content, it'll be any description in the podcast descriptions also in the description of course on any of the uh streaming, the video streaming and so on and so forth. But the book, But the book is available, you know what I mean. I'll get to the book in a second. And then we also to go along with the book, we've launched our the Simple Truth Minute Manual Personal Organizers. So it's a basically it's a planner and we call it a six month game plan and it goes with the book. So it has a lot of the the tools, or not a lot, all of the tools and things that we're mentioned in the book are available in the actual planner in addition to the actual planner being able to plan out your day. It's a it's a daily planner and you're able to you know, plan out your days and so on and so forth for help keep yourself organized. So that's been a very big deal. But we've been getting you know, we've been getting busy, man, We've getting we've been getting busy with that with that stuff. As far as the book, I keep I always get the question of you know, why the book, and well, I've been getting it a lot often more often than not. You know what I mean, why the book? You know what I mean, why the book? Why the book? And the truth is I wanted to I wanted to, Uh, I wanted to write the book quite some time ago, you know what I mean. I started. I actually started writing a book when my my wife's mother was still alive and we were I was talking to her and I told her I wanted to write a book. You know what I mean. I wanted to write. I'm really big into I read a lot of personal development books, you know what I mean, self help books. A lot of people call them like I read a lot of books, and so I was you know, if I read ten of them, I probably find I probably find two of them useful, you know what I'm saying. And I think that, you know, the way that those books are written in a lot of ways, it's a lot of it's a lot of bullshit, you feel me, It's a lot of bullshit the way a lot of those books are written. And so one of the things that I wanted to do was I wanted to, you know, kind of write my own, and I wanted to change the dynamic with the way that those books were written, or at least I wanted mine to be different, you know what I mean. And so I started, I actually started writing a book. We were at a treatment for her, she was getting a chemo treatment, and I was like, you know, talking to her about it or whatever. And then I was like, all right, well, I'm gonna go and I'm gonna start writing. So I went and I started. I went to a little area where they have like a little lounge area there at the hospital we were at, and I just went down and I started writing a book. So you know what I mean. I was writing and writing and writing and writing, and I had got the book done, you know what I'm saying. I had got the book done. And then I went as far as getting the book edited and you know, reviewed, you know, all that good stuff, and then it just sat like I hadn't released it. It just sat you know what I mean. I hadn't formatted it or nothing. It was just the manuscript. It was just the book was actually written. So the book had been done, I think, I want to say, by the time I got the final the final edit of it, and everything was ready. I decided that was the book. I you know, it was the final product, and I was gonna go with it. That had to be maybe twenty sixteen, maybe twenty sixteen. So I had the book and it was just there, but I never went through the process of actually shopping it around, figuring out publishing, you know, so on and so forth, and so then I just and and one of the things that I was trying to do was I was like, all right, I'm gonna wait till I finished my PhD program and then I'm gonna release the book. That way I can be doctor Junior the Truth You Feel Me and have the book released. And so that was what I was waiting for. But I was just really truly being stagnant on releasing it. And then I hit this space where I'm like, nah, you feel Me. And it was right. It was right on the it was right. It was right on the cusp of pushing all of this stuff, Like you know what I'm saying. We got we launched the magazine You Feel Me. Everything that goes along with the Punch Junkie brand was being launched. We have, you know, our shows, We're doing all of this everything that is being excuse me, everything that's being pushed out, you know what I mean. I'm like, man, so let me get this book done, you feel me. And so then I decided also instead of shopping it around and finding you know, publishing for it, I decided I was gonna publish it myself. You feel me like, I'm a publish it myself. And then so that came about and we published, you know, I published the book, you know, on my own through you know, a few different mediums or avenues rather and man, the book was you know, the book is here. And then I got the wild here because I'm I'm doing you know this, this, this, this digital content stuff is what I do. So we created the digital book. Of course, so the book is available in digital format, and it's available in Barns and Nobles and you know all that stuff and everywhere you you download your digital books, Apple books, all of that. And then I said, well, we might as well do the audio book too, you feel me, We might as well do the audio book too, Man, get the audio book done. And so I started doing the audio book, and then I was I was salute to my brother Jay good, you feel me, Salute to my brother Jay Good. Jay Good got that Jake Good got that uh he got that voice, man, he got that golden voice, you feel me. So I was gonna have Jake Good actually narrate the book, you know what I mean. And then I was like, nah, I can't do it that way. You feel me. It was like literally, I'm telling y'all, man, like I get dealt with in a lot of ways. I get dealt with on the spiritual level, you feel me. A lot of things happened to me. It's happening to me on the spiritual level. And so on. I had a day where I was just you know, pulling things together and it was it was really uneasy. It was one of It was one of those days you feel me. Anybody that's any business owner, you know. You know, you have those days where things just ain't clicking right. If anything can go wrong, it will. We call it Murphy's law, you feel me. It was one of those days and I was just like and I was, you know, I finally just went to bed, like you know what I mean, don't go to bed, and and what I realized was I was just wrestling with myself about the book, you know what I mean. The audiobook, and then it just it just came to me and woke me about my sleep, and I was like, man, yeah, I gotta read the I gotta read it, you know what I'm saying. And the way it came to me was, it's your words, you feel me, and your words need to come from your mouth. Like literally, it's your words and your words need to come from your mouth. So I'm like, damn, all right, you feel me, and I don't want to, you know what I mean, Believe it or not. You know, I know, I create content in a podcast and I have a live show, and I don't really mess with the sound of my voice just like everybody else, you know what I mean that when you hear yourself, it's different. So I don't really mess with the sound of my voice. And then you know, I'll read on a preschool level. You understand what I'm saying. And and I'm just like, oh god, you feel me, and I gotta and I gotta record it, and I gotta do this, and I gotta do that. And then I was like, well, the hell with it, you know what I mean, And we just I recorded the audio book myself, and then of course, in my in my fashion. I'm dead serious about my children, you feel me. I'm still serious about my kids. I'm dead serious about my wife. I'm dead serious about my family. And so I had to incorporate them and figure out ways to incorporate them into the book, of course, uh the audio book man. And so anyway, we got the audiobook done and it's up and available everywhere you know you get your audio books. And so that was. That's been, you know, we've been doing, We've been you know, tied up with that whole Simple Truth project, which I mean, it's it's it's it's I think it's it's it's I think it's wonderful. It's the first installment. The way it's going to play out there over there with the Simple Truth is just going to excuse me, it's going to actually be a I wanted to be an idea an idea community. You feel me like I wanted to be an idea community. I feel like us. And when I say us, I'm talking specifically to black people. You feel me or those who you know have been classified as black folks. You understand what I'm saying. Rather you indigenous or uh if you you know, come from the islands or you know whatever. But those of us who who are t tie into our culture, I feel like we don't have within our culture. I feel like we don't have a place for us to go and really truly exchange ideas in a pure form. You understand what I'm saying. I think every medium that we have in order to exchange our ideas is is tainted or diluted, or or somebody's looking to to try to profit from it, or whatever the case may be. And it's like a lot of times, you know you'll need things, or you'll need inspiration, or you'll need to engage in a certain level based on ideas. And where do you go? Like, literally, where do you when you have a good idea? Where do you go? You feel me some of y'all and some of us rather let me stop. Some of us have like multi million dollar ideas. Right, you have a multi million dollar idea, right that you just need to think your way through. Right, where the hell do you go with that multi million dollar idea? You understand a lot of us, you'll have an idea you don't want to tell some people because that you're scared there they'll they'll steal it. You don't want to tell other people because excuse me, you're afraid that you don't want that. You don't want that negative, you don't want the negative input from them. You know, where do you? A lot of times you get these ideas and what happens You just sit on them and you just had them ideas in your mind and it's just there. And I'm gonna tell you how the world works, right, Like, you get these these ideas and these these brain children, which are very spiritual things. Like you get these brain children, and then when you don't act on it, right, it's it's if I'm telling you, I bet you dollars to donuts. You'll look sometime down the line when you don't act on it, and then you'll see it come to fruition. You'll see somebody doing it or somebody doing something similar to it, and you'll be like man, you feel me, you say, you be like man, nah as soon as you as soon as you you think about it, and it'll be in your mind and the next thing you know, you'll be like man and you feel me. And so I wanted to create a place for people to be able to come and you know, talk about ideas and exchange information and you know, talk about things that you don't really talk about everywhere else. Come and get inspired, get educated. The for the the the network and even the Simple Truth shows that we started doing a while ago, just kind of in lieu of doing the Punch Junkie morning show. It was uh we would say, uh, what was it? Come laugh think grow you feel me? I think, come laugh think grown No think laugh grow bill shit, I don't know. Come laugh, think grow I think, is what we said. But it's it's just a it's just a you know for me, it's just a network for us to plug into. Period point blank, end of discussion. We talk about you know, there are areas over there on that in that space, there's you have, you know, the actual Simple Truth minute man your space. People who are looking to really truly work on, you know, their time management. We have entrepreneurship area, we have area for investing, and we're gonna have you know, other areas. And I've also opened it up to a few people within the family to come over and to come over and actually create content. You know what I mean. I know my brother uh over. It be about the forums, the model of the plant based pugilistes putting pulling something together to teach us how to grow our own food over there, which is a very big thing. I'm going to be putting pressure on some other folks to come over and uh put some information out there just for people to be able to come and get and learn, because that's what this ship is about. Like if we don't if we don't have each other and we don't have these areas to come and you know, exchange ideas, what do we have? You feel me in? The funny thing, excuse me. The funny thing is you know you say these things, and you know you introduce this stuff to people. When people look at you like you're crazy, like you feel me like I'll be feeling like Kanye West. You feel me people be looking at me like I'm nuts, and I'm like, nah, bro, Like you literally have to like this. Your ability to think and thought leadership, like that's your most powerful that's your most one of your most powerful assets is your ability to think. You understand what I'm saying. And the mere fact that people don't think is it's crazy. You understand like it's it's really truly crazy. Salute to my brother the Maid of the plaint based pugilist Man over it be about it farms. You know what I mean. Salute out there, we go salute to uh, salute to the family. And so we we we we we I don't know, man. We have to have the ability to plug in and and people think like because you and when you look at my community, especially like on YouTube and social media, Like when you look at my community, you see there's like this huge eclectic group of folks. You understand what I'm saying. You have black farmers, you have musicians, you have poets, you have financial of people. You have authors. You understand what I'm saying, Like you have carpenters, electricians. You feel me. You have a business, brilliant business minds, you feel me, entrepreneurs. You have parents, you feel me. You have people that are taking care of their their the loved ones. You have people that are taking care of their parents, like you got folks that are just it's just a whole uh eclectic collection of folks. And you mean to tell me if we come together and plug into a network and literally exchange ideas and exchange information in a in a constructive manner, that we can't come out with we all won't come out better, you feel me, and so like I be feeling like like people think I'm crazy, or they think I'm just doing this or I'm just doing that or whatever. But it's really truly a method in my madness. And one of the things also for me is that ownership is everything, Like you gotta own your shit, period. Ownership is everything everything I own the masters to my tapes. You feel me like everything is one hundred percent in mind. You know what I'm saying. I don't take money, you know what I mean, as far as you know, I don't take on angel investors, A lot of folks on invest in things I can't. I can't do it, you know what I mean. I just can't do it. You feel me solut to the family though, man, I really truly genuinely appreciate y'all. I have to be sure to mention this. And in the midst of all of this talking and we're talking about things that we've accomplished, The Black Gentleman Grooming Company is definitely here the Black Gentleman Podcast. So salute all right, man? So what's going on? What's going on? Amen? Excuse me? The economy is worsening period and there's no way around it. I think at this juncture you know, we're really beyond the politics or politics. We're beyond you know, pointing the finger, We're beyond who's the blame, and you know, there should be a scramble to figure out, in my opinion, how are we going to come out on the other side of this, Like, what are we going to do to come out on the other side of this and to be in a better space. What are we going to do? How are we going to do it? This is not a This is not a Republican Democrat conversation, you feel me, This is not this is not that. Actually, to be honest with you, Democrat versus Republican is like the lowest form of political conversation. You understand what I'm saying. And when I hear people engaging in that conversation, I feel like they're either on assignment to to to stir up confusion or they just really stupid when it comes to or uninformed when it comes to politics. I'm not not fuck that they stupid in the motherfucker when it comes to politics. They either are are on assignment and doing something or they are ridiculously stupid. Democrat versus Republican is the absolute lowest form of political conversation. It's like the scum. It's the scum of political conversation. You understand what I'm saying. Anytime you go anytime you go from talking about legislation and legislative articles and laws and uh, the the actual laws and the words and the creeds that govern the land. Any time you go away from that and you're just purely talking about Democrats versus Republicans, that's like the scum of that. That's like the the that's the bad shit. You understand what I'm saying. That's like the in my opinion, that's like the underneath the toilet bowl in the gas station restaroom. You feel me, like, that's the that's the ship, that's the unthinkable. You understand what I'm saying, Like, that's the ship that It's just the scum, scuzziest, dirtiest, most ridiculous, uh form of conversation. In my opinion, you feel me. And I think that those that engage in it, the majority of them are on assignment, especially those that engage in it on a large scale, uh of being you know, televised or they have large platforms, and that's what they're talking about. In my opinion, they're on assignment, and because a lot of us are so uninformed and so easily influenced, that's what we tap into with regard to politics. But politics goes beyond, far beyond Democrats versus Republicans, period. And there's just a lot of stuff that's going on. Man. There's a lot of stuff that's going on by way of the laws, by way of the politics or the politics and so on and so forth. There's a lot of stuff that's going on in the in with our currency, in our in our economic system. There's a lot of stuff that's going on. A lot of people are predicting a great reset that we have forthcoming. I see it coming, and I understand. I understand that it's coming, and I am definitely afraid of the conditions that it's going to bring, that the process is going to bring. You know, there are a lot of folks that have been predicting for a long time that we were going to be moving from the dollar, from the FIAC currency, the dollar bill, and moving toward a digital form of a dollar with the onset of you know, blockchain and digital and cryptocurrency. It's an it's kind of almost a no brainer, you know, what I mean. It's also it's kind of a no brainer. There's a lot of stuff that's gonna go come with that, you know what I mean. I'm talking about, you know, the possibility of them actually outlawing dollars, like the dollar bill becoming like the paper currency becoming illegal. And you feel me like, it's a lot of stuff that comes with that when a lot of countries change their currency, you know what I mean. And I just think it's gonna be a it's gonna be a mess a lot of this conversation. To be honest with you, I'm not really comfortable having on on these platforms that I don't own, so I kinda I kind of dance around, but don't be surprised when the economy comes crashing. So when it's with with indeed the economy coming uh and a crash, and it's almost that ship is almost inevitable when you look at the current conditions of the financial markets. So there needs to be a period of preparation, Like you have to prepare. You understand what I'm saying, like, uh, we have to be you have to be prepared. You feel me like, you literally have to prepare yourself. Those people who tap in with me for the morning shows. I'm always talking about being prepared, like we have to be prepared. You got to be prepared with with with the things that you need. You have to be prepared with your with your processes. You have to be prepared with your food supply. You have to be prepared with you know, other things that you might need. Those of you all who have UH prescriptions and and and and medicines that you take, you feel me you gotta stock up on your mads UH and or you know, I would prefer find the the the natural equivalent to the medicine that you take. And what herb can you use? What? What food can you eat? You know what I mean? What can you what can what? What natural UH substances can you consume in order to control whatever element you're dealing with. But there's a lot of I mean, there's a need for us to really truly prepare and not run around here looking as if, not acting as if this stuff is not real. Period. I can't express that enough, man, I can't express that enough. Also, as far as what are you gonna do with regard to the protection of yourself and the protection of your family, you feel me, What are you gonna do with that? How are you gonna do that? How you gonna move around and protect yourself and protect your family. I'm out here moving around, and I'm you know, I've been of course, you know those of y'all that that know I move a lot of I move freight. You know what I'm saying. I move freight. I do independent carrier work. Locally, I move a lot of uh you know, local goods around. You know what I mean, residentially and uh, business to business and so on and so forth. Excuse me, and man, I'm in a space where, like I'm I'm I'm ready to protect myself at all times, like giving like walking up to somebody's porch, I'm ready to protect myself, you know, pulling around to the back to the delivery dock at a business, I'm ready to protect myself, having to pull into the alley to make a drop out of business. I'm ready to protect myself, like I'm ready to literally ready to protect myself at all times. You feel me i'm driving, I don't. I don't always go the same way you feel me. I go different ways home. You know, this is just a very real thing. And how are you gonna protect yourself, but let me let me let me just say this, let me say before we say it. Let's go ahead on it and show love once again, some more love to the Black Gentleman Grooming Company man that is actually uh the sponsor and and uh responsible for uh this the live recording of this podcast in episode thirty one in general. I gotta move this thing along. I ain't realize how how long I have been going, but look, so I'm gonna say this and I'm gonna take the cut off the dope. You know what I mean. I'm gonna take the cut off the dope. It's in order for us to get through this ship that's coming, because it's some ship coming. We gotta get back to We gotta get back to people. You feel me. We get to get we gotta get to our people. We got to get back to loving on one another. We got to get back to supporting one another. We got to get back to to We gotta get back to being dialed in and tuned in to one another. All of these other groups and these other demographics of people. You feel me. They're getting it. You don't see them. They're not really quarreling, they're not so treacherous when it comes to each other. They work collectively. Everybody's able to do that except for black folks, you feel me. And one of the things that we have to do once it is I feel is we have to literally I'm talking about literally, we have to. I just got a notification that just popped up. It said today is the first day of Hispanic Heritage. What the fuck is that? And why how that ship upear on our calendar? What's the delete that shit? I'm just junking, man. I don't even know what that is though, But anyway, so we gotta get back. We have to get back to work in collectively. Like you gotta understand that the thing that's going to sustain us, and the thing that's going to sustain our children, and the ship that sustained our ancestors, and the things that sustained our people work. When when we thrived, we thrived as a collective. You feel me. When we thrive, we thrive as a collective. We always thrive as a collective. You feel me. We gotta get back to thriving as a collective. But this is this is gonna be specifically for the me and folky Hey man, listen, brothers, man, we gotta keep back on our job. Man. We gotta get back on our job like we got we gotta. We gotta get back on our job. Man. We literally literally gotta get back on our job. We gotta get we gotta get in position. And the only way we're gonna be able to make it and navigate this thing successfully, man, is to be one hundred percent dedicated to the mission at hand, man, and getting back on our jobs. Our streets have become chaos. You feel me, are are are are. I'm talking about, man, Our neighborhoods have become chaotic. Our children are are dealing and chaos, and in a lot of ways, we're not showing them anything better. You feel me when you have kids that are I mean, I'm talking about kids are coming along and they getting microphones, and they're getting cell phones put in their hands before they touch a hammer. You feel me, so you know it's about to be fucked up. Kids are getting our sons are getting I'm talking about, man, they getting cell phones put in their hands before they get a screwdriver put in their hands. Motherfucker can can can Can can give you the whole run around with the new Apple iPhone, But don't know the difference between the flathead and the phillips. Like we have to get back and and I gotta and we gotta we gotta own that mean like we gotta own that. We gotta eat that. You feel me like we really truly gotta eat that. I'm looking at I'm looking at little boys don't know how to start. I'm talking about teenage boys don't know how to start a fucking line more. You feel me like they don't know how to start a line. More. And I've been hustling since I learned how to work a lot more. Like we gotta, we gotta, we gotta get back to that, you feel me. We gotta we literally gotta get back to We gotta get back to that, man, Like, we gotta get back to We gotta get back to to to spearhead and this ship. Man, you feel me, front line with your bootsles, we gotta, we gotta move. We gotta move around all the distract all the uh, all the distractions. You feel me, We gotta move away from the distractions. We gotta move away from. We gotta move away from all the distractions. Man. And we gotta and we gotta get right in front and center, bro in our right mind and our right bodies, in our right spirit. Man, we gotta get there like that's it's that's the only way this ship gonna work. You gotta look around and look at what's going on, man, look around and look at what's going on, Like, look around and look at what's going on, Like look in the streets, look at what's going on in our neighborhoods. Look at what's going on. You feel me, we gotta get back to that, that shit. We came up on that shit that Daddy put in us, that that shit that Pap Paul put in us, our uncles, Like, we gotta get we gotta get back to that. Man. You feel me like, we literally gotta get back to that. And you know, ultimately I can say for myself and you know, honestly, the black gentleman brand man, we're here to We're here to promote manhood and we're here to nurture and protect womanhood. You understand what I'm saying. And so we have to like literally get back in position. Man. And I ain't I know everything that's going on. I understand it. You understand. I understand. I understand the resistance. I understand the resistance that we get. You feel me, I under standing. I understand, man, I understand. But fuck all that because that that shit is that's not gonna that's not gonna get us and enable us to thrive and shit survive. What's coming? All of this going wherever people tell you to go, doing the shit that people telling you to do, losing your ability to think objectively and to connect with other objective thinkers and all that shit, all of that has to go. You feel me, as a man like you have to be. You have to be one hundred percent down in and you have to be embold in order to do the things that you need to do for your family. Like this shit is about your family. It has always been about your family. Were the only people that have gone away from that. Like it has always been about your family. It's always been about your family. It's always been about your parents. It's always been about your grandparents, your great grandparents, your great great grandparents. You feel me, the majority of us. We don't even know who our great great great great grandparents were, who they are, what did they do, where were they at, what happened to them, how did they end up where they were? All of that stuff, we got it. It's always been about your family. We're the only people that have taken it and turned it into something else. And think about all of the shit that we allowed to come and supersede our family. We allow work to take over in place of our family. We allow church and religion to take over in the place of our family. We allow our friend relationships, we allow our vices, we allow all kinds of shit to come in and come to the forefront above your family. This shit has always been about your family, and then a lot of us had a nerve to actually have wives and shit. You feel me. We got wives, you know what I mean. We got children, You feel me. Fucker's got all kind of shit going on, got girlfriends on the sad wives. Kids, you feel me, other kids we got, We got all kind of shit going on. You understand what I'm saying. And we've allowed all of this, all of this, this this ship to get up to get in the way. You feel me, period, We gotta get back. We gotta get back and get connected and get dialed in because this shit has always meant about your family. And when you connect to your family, then you're gonna connect to everybody the greater good. Like it's nothing like for me when I'm in it. Every time I'm gonna say this and then I gotta go. But I'm gonna say this. Every time I'm out in about and I see a black man with his kids, it takes my breath away. Some of the most beautiful shit. When I see a black man, I see him in his element with his children. That shit takes as a father, that takes my breath away. You understand what I'm saying. And I'm so, I'm so, and I'm so inclined to ignowl. If you around me and you with your kids, you gotta acknowledge me coming. I might dap you up. You feel me. I might, I might say something to you you understand what I'm saying, or you just gonna get to you might get the universal Nah you feel me? Or I'm fucking around and give you a salute, a literal salute. It's nothing like seeing a black man with his children. You feel me. Nothing like it. I'm talking about with his kids. I ain't talking about running, I'm not talking about no bullshit. I'm talking about literally with his with his kids and in that space and in his element with his kids. Man, we gotta get back to that front and center. And you gotta get back and you gotta get connected to your family like that's it. Every other demographic is connected to their family. We gotta get back to our family, like, we gotta get back to that. People don't even sit down and eat with their kids and eat what they family. We gotta get back to that. I'm talking TV's off cell phones up, we sit down and we eat, we break bread. My family comes to that every night we TV off, cell phones away, we sit down, we eat together. You feel me like we gotta get back to that, Like that's what we gotta if we don't do nothing else. Like today is a day I get up running. I'm running doing the show, and then off of here. The baby's got school, my wife's going to the office. Like everything's chaotic. Tonight with dinner, and i'ma I'm gonna actually cook dinner tonight. So with dinner tonight before the Smoke City Mob cast tonight, we're gonna sit down and we're gonna break bread. You feel me. We gotta get back to We have to get back to our family. We have to stop allowing we have to stop allowing all of this stuff to get in the way and to trip us up on our way back to our family. We gotta get back to to our family. And fellas, it's on us, Like this ship gonna go however we make it go, And that's on. That's that's on everything I love. This is gonna go how we make it go. We've sat back, we've been docile, and a lot of us have been tricked out, our positions and all of that old ship. You feel me and at the end of the day. We we still have allowed this ship to go the way that has been going, and we see where it has got us. You feel me, We see where it's chaos. So anyway, man, we got to actually get back to it. Salute to the family man, Thank y'all so much. I actually I actually see now we're starting to have some we're starting to have some trouble of course, uh with the with the stream, the life, uh. The everything's locked and loaded over on a mobile app. So we're good to go. But you know that's what happens when we start talking real so we're gonna go ahead on and slide up out of here. Man. You feel me anytime we start kicking that real shit, man, that's what happens. Salute to the family man, Thank y'all so much. I really truly genuinely appreciate y'all. You have absolutely no idea. Salute to the entire team man. Yes, indeed, hey man, this is what happens when we don't own the platforms. But we over here on the mobile app and we're good to go.
