Not everyone who criticizes you deserves the authority to influence you.
In Day 020 of Just a Thought... w/ Junior, Junior reflects on a simple standard:
“Don't accept criticism from someone you wouldn't ask for advice.”
The wrong criticism can cost you confidence, clarity, opportunities, relationships, and years of second-guessing yourself. Self-Mastery requires discernment—not just about what people say, but about whose voice deserves weight in your life.
Before accepting someone's criticism, consider the source. Do you respect their judgment? Their character? Their results? Would you actually seek their advice?
If not, why have you given their criticism so much authority?
Feedback can help you grow. But everybody's opinion doesn't deserve access to your identity.
Choose your voices carefully.
It's simply a thought.
